I’ve been waiting for these lunchboxes to go on sale. I bought 2 extra for when my daughter forgets her lunch bag or when one gets too dirty. I purchased one last year as a back up to her Pottery Barn lunch bag. We never even got around to using the Pottery Barn lunch bag because the Crazy 8 lunch bag held up the entire year.
I bought my daughter a backpack and lunch box at Crazy 8 last year before she went into pre k. It held up all year and both items are still in PERFECT condition. I am not even sure I’m going to replace them for kindergarten this fall since there’s no need. The size is perfect for younger kids too. She’s kind of petite so it looks a little large on her, but it fits folders, change of uniform and the lunchbox inside just fine.
I purchased a matching backpack and lunchbox from Crazy8 three years ago. We would be using the backpack for another year, but it tore on the front pocket after getting caught under the bus seat at the end of this school year. (In other words, the backpack and lunchbox lasted over 2 years!). I’m really happy with the quality of my purchase from a few years ago. I am definitely ordering another set.

(Thanks, Summer!)
These backpacks seem small? Would they be good for a 4th grader?
These are a good size for prek and kindergarten, but I wouldn’t recommend them for older kids.
The quality is surprisingly good! My kid had one for pre-k two years ago and it still looks new. We use it for traveling now and it’s holding up almost as well as her Pottery Barn backpack.
Thanks for sharing your experience Nydia! Glad to hear how well it has held up!
Are these lunch boxes good/big for older kids? 3rd graders?
Do they fit A4 folders?

How does cray 8 fit? My son is 8, tall and slim. My issue is that shirts always look too short or too wide and sloppy!
My 12 year old has worn this brand since he was a little guy. He is tall and skinny. They fit pretty well. I’m sensitive to the fit of close in the way you are talking about. I hate shirts that are too short and wide. These are great, they wash well, too. We do buy the slim fit jeans because my son has no butt and they fit better but the regular jeans are fine, too.
Clothes not “close” sorry 😐
I purchased a matching backpack and lunchbox last summer when there was a good deal. My daughter used both for all of 1st grade and everything is in great shape! She will be using them again for this school year!
Awesome to hear she can use them for another year! Thanks for the great review Robin!
I just bought a matching backpack and lunch bag for my kindergartener. Hopefully it will last him through the school year. 😀
