Anyone know if you can keep this on fabric and it lifts up. I’m looking for a nice iron for my mom that sews. Any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks A bunch.
We have this iron and absolutely love it!
All Rowenta irons are awesome!
Glad to hear that Jen! Thanks for the feedback!
Love Rowenta irons!!’ Will not buy any other brand 🙂
I agree Tan. I used to work for the company in Germany. Fresh out of high school I worked on the assembly line making coffee pots. Remember those old ones that had balls in them showing the water level. I put the ball in the tube and the tube on the coffee pot. I also put the metal warming plate on it to one time. I loved working for the company. Had a wonderful cafeteria at the factory with great food and every Friday a bunch of us would go around the corner to the Gasthaus and have a beer with our lunch (in Germany you can have one with your lunch). It was a wonderful place to work. Then I got a job on base at the military post office……….. Glad to see they are still in business.
I LOVED my Rowenta. It lasted about 20 years. It was well worth it!
Wow! Good to know how well yours held up through the years Cindy! Thanks for sharing your experience! 🙂
I love the steam on this one. Has a lot of holes so it is very even and doesn’t leave wet spots. I got it to replace a very old Rowenta.
