My honest opinion of Purex is that if you have little ones who stain their clothes then Purex is not the detergent for you.
My family’s clothes didn’t clean well with Purex and I switched back to Tide.

I agree. It doesn’t lift the dirt from my husbands clothes well. i just had to go back to Tide.

I use the cheapie detergents for towels, dish rags, my husbands car cleaning rags. I absolutely love Persil for soiled clothes & stuff that needs a good clean! I find it works much better than Tide.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! Sorry to hear Purex did not work well!

I use the Purex in the green bottle and love it. I have sensitive skin and it’s one of the only detergents that I can use that doesn’t cause a rash. I agree that it isn’t as good at getting out tough stains as some of the other brands, but it’s good for people who have sensitive skin.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience Sandy!

Question: why is it when you do a gift card transaction at target? they gift card is not applied to that same transaction such as if I buy 3 rolls of paper towels for 15 and suppose to receive a 5 dollar gift card, why isn’t it applied to the purchase whereas I pay 15 but not 10. does target have certain gift card policy??? Help please and thanks

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, you cannot apply the gift card you earn to the transaction it is earned from. It is to be applied to your next purchase. Hope this helps!

There is also a $1.25 Ibotta rebate for Purex detergent that can be used up to two times per receipt!
