I’m a mother of two girls that had a wonderful experience collecting and playing with these dolls for over 7 years. We’re done now and I really feel for the working families that will have to try and stretch to purchase a doll for $200 plus tax. It think the price has gotten ridiculous.

$200 is crazy high for a doll. Hopefully my daughter won’t even know they exist because with 3 kids I cannot afford something like that. It is a really neat idea though!

This is how I would be opt to feel bc growing up my family’s monthly budget for food was $200 so it would never even cross my mind to ask for this, however now that I have my own children and have worked my tail off to be able to have what we have, I don’t think I would mind spending that on a doll (if I had a girl and If she wanted one). To each their own. If you have the funds and your child deserves it, why not?!
This is a great thing. Yes $200 is a lot. But it gives girls a chance to get a doll that looks just like them beyond the typical dolls that are in the stores. There are options like no hair, hearing aid, different skin tones. I thinks it’s great!
