i personally have never tried rice in a cooker but i bet you can. i thought i saw a recipe for risotto on pinterest for the crock pot
I’ve put boxed red beans & rice into my beans about 1 1/2 hours before serving & it was great! I’d only use instant rice in the crock pot though. I think regular rice wouldn’t do well:)

I saw this n loved it but it’s 6 quart so quite large, if you live in a city n don’t have a lot of kitchen/counter space, that might be an issue. Otherwise loved it.
