Great Clips Great Card = $9.99 Haircuts
Practical Stocking Stuffer Idea!
For a limited time only, head into your local Great Clips salon where you can purchase a prepaid Great Card that allows you to score a haircut for just $9.99-$10.99 depending on your location! And, you can purchase multiple prepaid cuts on each Great Card to save you all year long.
This seems like a great deal as a men’s haircut can be as much as $18!
Note that you will be able to use your prepaid Great Card on your next visit to Great Clips and a minimum/maximum purchase may apply. Haircut prices vary by location.
We love our Great Clips and that they offer this card every year. Really can’t beat it. We buy one every year and it (along with other special discount coupons we use separately that they come out with) and it gets our whole family haircuts for a year.
Oh awesome! Happy to hear you have enjoyed this promotion Lisa! Thanks for sharing your experience!
My store often has a $5.99 sale. We hit the store up then and tip a little more. What is normal for a tip for a 10-15 min haircut?
I did this in Pennsylvania, where they are $10.99 per card, last year. I bought 5 and they gave me a free haircut for spending $50 on gift cards
Sweet!
Oh this is fantastic , with three little boys plus dad haircuts add up fast even for boys !
Perfect!
buy a clippers. I did. Saved a ton of $$$ cutting my boys hair at home
Sign up for their mailing list, they send us coupons for $7.99 haircuts every few months.
I also find $6.99 coupons in the little sales ad mailers each month.
*Im in TX
Thanks for the mailing list tip. We do get the flyers in the mail every so often, but with 3 of us getting hair cuts, they don’t last long.
Oh cool! Thanks for sharing!
Can you tell me where you sign up for their emails? I can’t find it.
Something new I discovered when I paid with my card is on the receipt, there is a 2$ off next visit
This is a great gift idea. Could someone please explain how these cards work? Is each card credited with $9.99? How long is the card good for? I occasionally receive the coupons in the mail, but it seems like they expire before I can use them.
Amie, you buy the cards (they have different denominations) and the more you buy the cheaper each individual haircut is (in the end). The card is good forever. You only have to pay sales tax and please don’t forget tip. We use the card in conjunction with the coupons we get in the mail and it tides us over. We like it as well because we can buy one giftcard for the whole family to use. You cannot use any other discounts (like the coupon) with these giftcards though. Hope I explained that succinctly for you.
Many thanks for your reply! This sounds perfect for my husband! Thanks again for the details!
Oh, Amie, one tip I did forget. If you go to their app or website and check in for a haircut (can only be done 1 hour before), you get head of the line privileges. It works great like if you are short on time like over a lunch period.
Good deal if you are someone who goes to and like GreatClips. Sounds like it is like a “Forever Stamp”.
(For me personally, I don’t like service at these chain hair-cuttery places. You need to give them e-mails and phone numbers which feels intrusive… skill level of barbers is hit-or-miss… wait times are usually long… barber wants to have some long conversation with you…
I have better luck and can get cheaper prices usually at the “ma\pa” corner barbers.)
Amen I have worked at both and I fully agree with you!
Are they having a gift card promotion too? Like, buy $50 in gift cards and get $5 free or something like that?? Anyone know? Thanks!
We just loaded up our card last night with 10 of these.
I love their online check in!!! so i can estimate the wait time before i go.
I bought one of these 2 years ago and loaded it with 10 haircuts at 9.99 each. I thought it would last us a year. I forgot that my husband who turned 65 a few months later had a better deal going on Wednesday before 2pm for Senior Day. Since I only get my hair trimmed 3-4 times a year I am still using the last of the haircuts. i have used this card in 2 different states. I have never had a problem.
Thanks for your feedback Diane!
Your husband’s deal for seniors before two, where is that?
going to buy this card
OMG our store is actually particpating, yay!!! They are $10.99 for me (because I live in Cali and they pretty much charge you to breath here). But I am super happy to load one up for my hubby for Christmas he loves going to Great Clips, the girls are always super friendly.
Are these good on women’s or girls haircuts?
Clippers!!! So easy
We understand that clippers work well for you and your boys but there may be other people out there that may want a real haircut instead of a buzz.
After watching YouTube videos, I do haircuts for my husband & 5 kids! And it’s not just a buzz. I actually do fades for my boys. It actually looks better than at the barber shop.
Where I live, on the back of the Albertsons receipt there’s a coupon for this price.
My husband would be afraid he would lose it. There would go all the savings.
FYI. Last year I got 10 inches cut off to donate for locks of love. I had no idea that if you donate your hair your haircut is free. It is time to donate again and get my free cut. Just curious how much do you tip when you get a haircut? My husband is cheap and tips $2. He says he is there 10 minutes and only gets a buzz cut.
You really should get the program organized for one consistent price – I don’t know why some places should hav 9.99 and others 10.99
I’m dumbfounded – who stops sales of gift cards on Dec 11th? I have been buying these for years and this year when I go to get my card/s they tell me they stopped selling them on Dec 11! Does this make sense to ANYONE? Most places look forward to selling gift cards and providing customers with last minute options for gifts – some even go until Dec 31st!
I just don’t get this. I won’t be going to Great Clips again.
When does the $9.99 prepaid Great Clips card special end? The only thing I can find
STATES: for a limited time. What is the final deadline selling date to purchase this?
Also would like to know if purchasing this card, does military discount apply?
