Was able to get the $60 price for one year even as an existing subscriber
Did you call?
Yes… if you search XM deals or retention deals online there’s a thread that explains people’s success and what they were offered, keep saying no and eventually they offer the $60 a year deal
My name is Joie D Nowka. I purchased a new Subaru, My trial end date is July 13 2019. My account # is 447036989777, my esn # isX4TBTA07. Iam interested in a new membership for the new amount of $60 for 12 Months. Wll you get back to me by my E-Mail or cll me at 562-430-5976, Thankyou
I cancelled service last year. Would they consider be a new customer again?
I pay $5-$6/month every time I renew. When you call, say you are about to cancel… they will give you a bunch of promotions but the last promotion they give is always the cheapest. It is usually a 5 or 6 month promotion. I just always call again towards to the end to renew.
Not true. They are temperamental. They wouldn’t give me a lower rate so they lost a customer. Then, they robocall back from different numbers trying to get you to sign up. I’m over companies like this.
You should never have to pay more than $5/mo or so for this service. I’ve had the same experice as Amanda (comment above) described. I’ve done this consistently for nearly 10 years now. I always say that I’m not willing to pay more than the deal I currently have. I think once, they actually canceled my service. It was only a few weeks later, they sent me a letter offering me a “comeback” deal that was the same deal as I had. I renewed and have never been canceled again. It’s just important not to lose track of your renewal date (I write it on my calendar), because they will renew you at a ridiculously high price and I’ve heard that they are a pain to deal with.
Thank you for posting this! Perfect timing because my current subscription ends in 3 days.
I have the same experience as Amanda and Jen. I just call before my subscription period ends and they auto renew me at a ridiculous high price. You just need to tell them you are cancelling and they offer you deals to keep you. You just say no until the deal is good enough.
I always have them invoice me, so that I don’t ever give them my credit card. Sometimes they try to talk you into not doing the invoice, but you just stay firm. Also, they charge you $2 to send the bill to your house, just ask polity if they will waive the invoice fee.
I love their product, can’t imagine my car rides without it, but I would not pay full price.
You’re welcome Meg! Thanks for the feedback!
