CHI Air Spin N Curl Iron
Only $60 shipped (regularly $79.99)
Readers LOVE this iron…
I got the chi spin and curl for Christmas. I have Asian, stick straight, can’t hold a curl to save my life hair (unless I put tons and tons of product in it). Even when professionally done, my curls fall as soon as I leave the salon. In the past with a regular curling iron, it took me about 1 hour to curl my hair. With the Chi, it takes me less than 15 minutes, the only product I use is a heat protector, and my curls last the entire day. Where has this been all my life?!!! Best of all, there’s no chance of tangling your hair in it. Now, I curl my hair probably 4-5 days a week. I’m obsessed. This machine is a life changer.
My daughter has long, thick hair and it works on her hair. Each section takes 15 seconds. There’s a timer. I got this recently and love it.
Totally agree on this – everything from thick straight Asian hair to doing it 4-5 times a week!

Any reviews i have stubborn thick straight hair does the first one really work?

Thanks for this review! I have the same issues as you. Might have to get this now!
Thanks for the post and reviews! I’m getting it as I have same type of hair. Excited! 😁
You’re welcome ladies! If it helps, I use Redken Hot Sets 22 as a dual heat protector and curl setter. Then I finish off with a very light spritz of hairspray on humid days.
Hi Cat! What’s the learning curve on this? I feel like I would get my hair stuck in it a lot in the beginning 😬
I watched two short videos posted on the Chi website and I picked it right up. I even brought it to work for a couple girls to try out and they watched me curl a couple sections and they got it immediately too. It’s super easy to use. They make it fool proof.
Thank you!!
I’ve never tried any of the products listed in the post. However brand wise I’d personally spend the extra money for CHI. Conair products have never worked for me regardless of what it was. That’s just me, perhaps some may differ in opinion. I always check online reviews before purchasing anything. Hope this helps.
Thanks so much for the helpful review, J! Good to know what has worked best for you!
I watched a You Tube review on it and it sounds great. My 11 yr old curls her hair all the time and is always burning herself, this is totally worth it if she doesn’t burn herself again.
Would this work well on thick long hair? Would it take my thick hair forever to curl?

I have the TIGI Bed Head Wave Artist Tourmaline Ceramic Deep Waver (bought from Amazon from a post here, though I think the one from Amazon may be a newer model?) and it’s amazing!!! I’m awful at using a curling iron and even when I succeed my hair doesn’t hold curl well at all but I can do my whole head (hair to the middle of my back) in about 7 minutes and the waves look great for 2-3 days with a little dry shampoo thrown in on days 2 & 3. It’s totally worth full price but on sale today for just $17.99. https://www.target.com/p/tigi-bed-head-wave-artist-tourmaline-ceramic-deep-waver/-/A-14062119
Thanks for sharing, Sara! I have that one too and I LOVE using it on my daughter’s hair. It really does create beautiful waves!
Would this work for thin straight hair? I’m terrible at curling my hair and it’s so flat it needs help so I usually just blow dry
Yes it works awesome!
Thank you! Now to justify spending the $$ 🙂
Looking for opinion!
So I have shoulder length think little wave to my hair, which one above would be best for me to get some waves?
Amazon has this exact same item for $51.08! Just ordered from Amazon. Free shipping too!
Not the same brand
The one I ordered is.
Thanks for sharing with us, Lois! I don’t find it for less from Amazon now as I search through. Darn!
I think that is from “Hi” not from “CHI” https://www.amazon.com/2019-Spin-Ceramic-Rotating-Curler/dp/B07KVS3WKR/ref=pd_ybh_a_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=NHQD5RFP68DZJDNVEBPX
Thank you! Kohl’s.com price matched for me &
I earned Kohl’s cash!
Oh my goodness, that is awesome! How do you get Kohl’s.com to price match it?
I chatted and had it approved, placed the order, gave the agent my order #, and he adjusted it.
Oh SWEET! You’re welcome, Teri! Thanks for the heads up on your score!
Do i call to order and price match it? That is such a great deal!
I did it through chat, but you could probably call too!
Thanks for the tip, Teri. Just ordered over the phone after the chat 🙂
You’re welcome! Glad you got one! Looks like some people are having trouble.
Got an email it’s ready for pick up. And I got the red one for the same price. Target has it for $75. I didn’t know it was different price for the red one until now when I went back to Target site to check its voltage, which is dual. I can take it anywhere!😀
Did the chat, thank you! Got free shipping and 15% off with the price match with Kohl’s. YAY!
This product is not eligible for promotional offers and coupons. However, you are able to earn and redeem Kohl’s Cash and YES2YOU Rewards on this product.
How did you get 15% off?
didnt work for me through chat 🙁
Me neither. Tried both ways – via call and chat. Strike out both times. They said the product was part of the brand exclusion, hence no coupons or price match.
Great for those who managed to get the right Kohl’s rep to push the deal through!

I can’t find the chat
Took me forever to find the chat, until I put customer service chat on the search area. Then it’ll be on the bottom part of the page. It says “live chat” in black with this sign 💬 (without the …)
I just got it through price match at kohl’s as well! Thank you so much!!! Can’t wait to pick it up in store 😊
Won’t price match.. Kohl’s claims it’s an exclusion item. 😛
I got mine with Best Buy. Free ship home. Try them.
I got this real cheap at Kohl’s by using my kohl’s cash and this product is a holy grail for me. Really easy to use and my whole head is done in no time. I have long hair so I do the top part and have to do it again half way for the bottom part but it’s still better than the traditional curling iron.
I have naturally curly and frizzy hair. It is thin and fine. My hair looks SO much better when it’s blown out and curled, but it takes me forever to do it because I’m not talented. Does anyone know if the Chi would work for me? What I’m kind of wanting to try is to wash and put heat protectant, then let my hair dry naturally. Then try to curl it with the Chi so it would smooth it and tame the curl into something more manageable? Does anyone do this?
Following your question
I watched a YouTube video and it looks simple to use. My hair sounds like yours and I too have no talent at blowing it straight. I recently purchased the Revlon One Step dryer and straightening brush and love it, so easy to work with.
I have same type of hair. Used it today and my curls look awesome and it’s the end of the day, they have held up well. Took me 15 mins to curl my hair.
I price matched with Best Buy on line. Free ship to my house.
Thanks Hip2Save for all the good deals and thank you Hip2Save community for great suggestions!
SWEET! You’re welcome, Cristina! Glad you could grab the savings!
I just bought this online and got it yesterday. Wonder if they’d price adjust 🤔
Awesome! Snagged one for my daughter and I, thanks!!
Yay! You’re welcome! Hope you both love it!
Decided to give it a shot. Hopefully if it doesn’t work for me, they will allow me to return it. I got the extra 5% off and had a $25 giftcard, so that helped save a bit more! The reviews all sounded great so I am excited to try it out!!
