The Slumber 1 12″ Spring Support Mattress by Zinus is a medium support mattress. It features a fiber quilted cover, high-density support foam, green tea ViscoLatex foam comfort layers and 6″ coil springs. The coil system is made from heavy gauge steel coils to provide firm support.
Note, your mattress will arrive rolled up in a box. You will need to open your mattress package within 72 hours of receipt and allow 48 hours for your new mattress to return to its original shape.

I have a king size and it’s the best purchase I have made. Got my mom one as well. Price is perfect. Make sure you follow directions and let mattress take its shape fully , with enough time to expand before using it. I have had mine for 2.5 years and I have zero complaints 🙂

Just a thought…I have a 12 inch twin for my son, and I’d prefer a 10 inch. 12 inch is thicker than most and you might have a little trouble with getting some sheets to fit. Good price, though.

Does anyone know if you need a box springs with that one? I have a twin bed frame with attached headboard
You will need a base of some kind. If you are using a metal twin frame, then yes you would need a box spring.
Not necessary, I got two queen size mattress (for my mother and myself), I have a metal frame with a lot of storage space underneath. I got a nice half a inch ply wood about the size of the mattress and covered it with some nice thick canvas materials to make sure there would be no saggy over time. Had this mattress close to three years, we both love it, no more back pain.
