These are way cute! And takes all the work out of thinking of something to make! I just wish they had the size in the description… it’s hard to tell how big it’ll be
Has anyone tried these w an suv?
Sounds like a terrible way to normalize kidnapping by letting children think it’s okay to go up to someone’s car for candy or treats.
What? Our local elementary schools have a parked car trunk or treat night every year. Children go from car to car in the school parking lot.
It is unfortunate that everything that’s intended to be fun could possibly face danger. I hope all kids are supervised. Trunk or treat been around for years. Churches, schools, and subdivisions (with police presence) participate as a safe alternative for kids.
Since people are being snarky about this… Kemah, I am a teacher and I 100% agree with you. We avoid these like the plague. The entire concept goes against everything we teach children about “strangers with candy (and cars)”. I understand the argument that it’s been done for years with no incidents, but let’s be honest, no one is expecting a kid to be kidnapped at the Trunk-or-Treat event. That isn’t what this is about at all. The problem here lies in that we are normalizing concept of kids approaching cars, potentially of strangers, to collect treats.
