VP Partnerships

Stella has over 30 years of experience in Building Brands through the power of Advertising, Custom Content and Shopper Marketing.  She is excited to join the HIP team and brings with her a treasure-trove of experience from Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Rolling Stone, GQ, Time Inc., BazaarVoice, Valassis and Shopkick.  Storytelling and a love of all things Retail are the common threads in her career. Stella believes that something magical happens in-store and that we at Hip are witnessing and helping to shape a true revolution in retail.  Stella is a Board Member with NextUp NYC where she is the Growth & Development Officer;  She is also on the Board of St. Francis Academy in Union City, NJ and she is very active with her local City Council & community.  Stella is equal parts a City Gal and Country Mouse and she splits her time between bustling Jersey City, NJ and a quiet cabin in the Catskills.  Stella enjoys life with her nuclear family - she is married to Chris Weil for over 20 amazing years and their daughter, Valentina will be graduating from American University in Washington, DC in just a few weeks.  Zappa is their super active GSP family dog.  Stella is a proud immigrant from Quezon City, Philippines and she loves to travel, read and entertain.
