Well I am disappointed in Lowes. I’m a CNA and my license does not qualify. I work as a student respiratory tech at a trauma hospital and am a respiratory therapy student. There’s no option for RTs who are right on the front lines, running the ventilators and oxygenating patients with COVID – and Respiratory Care Week is next week. What about the transporters and housekeeping who keep the hospital running? There’s so much more than doctors, nurses, and paramedics/EMTs.

I don’t have time to sit on the phone with Customer Care – 1-800-445-6937 – but maybe someone else does.

I agree!!! Everyone talks about doctors and nurses but no one seems to realize that doctors and nurses call the respiratory therapists when their patients are crashing!!!! And yes, CNAs, PCTs, housekeeping, dietary. Anyone that is a hospital employee is essential! I’m thankful to have an awesome employer that just gave everyone a nice bonus for all we have done throughout the pandemic:)

😂😂😂😂 most hospitals gave out bonuses bc they HAVE TO- You can thank TAXPAYERS for your bonus as that’s who paid the bonuses- it came out of taxpayer funded money the government gave to hospitals that provided bonuses, PPE, etc…. if they didn’t dole out the bonuses they would be in major legal trouble (embezzlement, misuse of taxpayer funds, etc)

Not on the list; but, my husband is a plumber. Do you think that is not a first responder? Do you want to be sick and have no toilet to use or no sink to wash hands? He deals with the sick AND their crap!

teachers take care of students, hair stylists help with mental health, dog walkers make sure your dog doesn’t die. this is those who are treating people for a pandemic, on crazy hours. every job has a huge impact on people’s lives. being ungracious over 10 percent is amazing. we don’t deserve anything, and when special deals happen for certain people we should be happy for them.

It says right there- first responders. Not essential workers. Although I feel for the RTs.

I’m an lPN and I got no bonus lol. Thanks to everyone working hard during this time. You’re appreciated ☺️
