These ALDI Pretzels Taste Similar to Dot’s for Less Than Half the Price
Love Dots Pretzels? ALDI has a cheap (and yummy) alternative!
Head into your local ALDI where you can grab Clancy’s Pub Style Pretzels which taste just like the popular (and sometimes spendy) Dots Pretzels!
We spotted a 12oz bag of these pretzels at our local ALDI on sale for only $1.69 (regularly $1.99)! A regular-sized 16oz bag of Dot’s Pretzels is around $5.98 on Walmart.com. This means that you can grab three bags of the Pub Style Pretzels for the price of one bag of Dots Pretzels – and trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
I always have these Pub Style Pretzels in my pantry and they are SO delicious! They are dusted with garlic and onion seasoning and are a great snack to keep on hand or take to the beach or pool with you.
Our own Hip2Save Sidekick Cam recently tasted both, and here are her thoughts…
“They are very similar to the dots in taste in my opinion! They are flavorful and they’re Definitely a nice cheaper alternative!”

Thank you for posting! I love Dot’s but they are so expensive. Going to get a bag and try these tomorrow.
You bet! Hope you love them, Tracy! 🥰
Been buying these for years…one of my favorite Aldi finds!
Awesome! So good to know they have been around for a bit, Patti! I’m looking forward to grabbing them to try on my next visit. 🥰
These are soo good!!!!
YAY! So happy to hear that you love them! 🤗💕
Love these!
I don’t think these taste like dots at all, however they are still really good. They have gone up in price through and are around $2.50 a bag now. Still cheaper than dots!
I second all of this!
Agree!! My son loves Dots, but doesn’t like these. I think he wants them to taste exactly like Dots. I like both!
Agree on this one! These are good!
Dot’s have MSG, so if you are sensitive, beware. I felt bloated for a day afterward. Personally I would make them myself. They recently posted a recipe on this site. I learned my lesson on reading labels!
Dots are one of my favorite treats, but we don’t buy them a lot because of price. Dot is from my humble state of North Dakota so I will always root for Dots! Exciting to see that they are getting to be popular all over the country. 🙂

Thanks for sharing, Jodi! Our Hip sidekick, Lina, also has a recipe that was recently posted here, if you want to try that one out also! 🤗❤️
DOTS brand Pretzels have excellent seasoning on them. I don’t or never did like pretzels, but I tried the DOTS brand and they’re not dried out,
great flavoring hard to stop eating.
I enjoy those too, Deb! 🥨 Thanks for sharing your recommendation and thoughts on that brand!
