As you get older, sardines are good for your diet. You lose muscle mass and need protein in your diet every day, and sardines are an excellent source of protein. Also, they have no carbs, and they’re high in Omega 3 fatty acids, which helps to keep your blood pressure down. I also find them to be easy to eat, and, when I worked, they were good to throw in my lunch box. The trick is to find sardines that don’t break the bank but still taste good. These are my pick. They have a nice, light flavor, and, unlike some, they don’t taste oily. I also like that Chicken of the Sea is a well-known brand.
