With elevated food prices here to stay, many people are cutting back on their fast food consumption to save money. Restaurants are now trying to lure customers back with new value menu items, cheap meal deals, and other promotions.
While the days of a true dollar menu may be in the rearview mirror, there are still some opportunities to grab a fast food meal for around five bucks, and more options are coming soon, too!

Burger King is bringing back its $5 Your Way Meal.
Burger King has confirmed that it will be re-releasing its once-popular Your Way Meal very soon. This value meal is expected to include one of three sandwich choices along with nuggets, fries, and a drink.
While we don’t have an exact release date yet, we do know that BK hopes to have its $5 value meal on the menu before the rumored release of McDonald’s $5 value meal on June 25. Burger King’s $5 Your Way Meal is expected to remain on its menu for “several months” – hopefully longer!

McDonald’s is dropping $5 value meal starting June 25
McDonald’s has confirmed that a new $5 Value Meal will be available on menus beginning June 25th.
This new $5 value meal will include four items: your choice of a McChicken or a McDouble, a four-piece order of Chicken McNuggets, small fries, and a small drink.
Grab a cheap breakfast from Starbucks starting at just $5.
We bet you didn’t expect to see Starbucks on this list, but the chain has a new Pairings Menu that allows customers to order a tall (12-oz.) beverage with a Butter Croissant for just $5! The beverage can be any iced or hot coffee or tea.

I’m curious to know if this will be available in California. Many fast food joints are now paying $20 for minimum wage. I’m doubtful this will be an option.

In Oxnard (Ventura County), Wendys has the Jr. Cheeseburger meal for $5.00. It includes a Jr. Cheeseburger, fries, 4 nuggets and a drink. Unfortunately, I don’t see any McDonalds or Burger King in my area offering meals for $5.00. My guess is that it depends on the restaurant.
yeah it just depends on location, because i’m in orange county and one location serves it for $5 but another location nearby the cheapest meal deal is $8
