I bought this backpack in Royal Blue a year ago. It seemed a bit pricey for me, but as I am a backpack person and use them on a daily basis, I decided to give them a try anyway. It was easily one of the best purchases I ever made. I used it daily for school (walking a lot, commuting, and carrying heavy books), shopping, hiking, and travel, yet it still looks just as it did when I first got it, even though most of my cheaper backpacks usually gave up on me after 6 months or so.
It is also a lot more comfortable than I thought it was going to be. Worth every cent and would buy it again with no hesitation.
I have four kids, eldest 10, and youngest 3- and they all use Kanken’s for school and daycare. The size is amazing for holding what they need to and from school, even Chromebooks. I did a lot of research before shelling out the money.
My son could previously tear the fabric on other $130+ bags and he cannot seem to wreck the fabric of the Kanken, and shockingly they don’t hold stains either! It has been a lot of fun seeing my kids enjoy these bags.
My daughter got one of these last year and it fell apart before Christmas break. Doesn’t wasn’t worth it from our experience.

I’ve been using mine as a purse daily for over a year and its holding up very well. Mine is orange and I love it. Instructions say to soak it in water and let it dry before first use.

I bought mine from Nordstrom at full price years ago, size large and mini, and i find them to be worth the price! I use them instead of diaper bags. I love that they are water proof. Amazon has a lot of counterfeits, so at least you know you are buying legit ones at a good price!
