gray carry on bag in an airline fit check

Check out a few glowing reviews…

It’s surprisingly spacious and does pass as a personal item, we put this bag to the test with two different airlines, Spirit and Frontier. I’d suggest packing your clothes and belongings upwards instead of sideways to make sure that it passes the personal item check, Frontier was a tighter fit than Spirit but as long as you don’t stuff the bag it’ll pass with a little push. Great quality and the inside pocket is very handy, this bag held me and my husband’s clothes for a 5-day hiking trip, we were able to fit toiletries, cords and one pair of shoes. It is completely worth the price!

I haven’t traveled with this bag yet but I did test it out a bit at home. I like that it’s a simple little big. The size is decent. I’m not sure exactly what I’ll be taking with me on my trip but I don’t plan on overpacking so I’m thinking it’ll be roomy enough for my stuff. In the photos I shared, I have a large packing cube full of clothes, a pouch-sized compression bag full of more clothes, a shoe bag with shoes and flip flops in it, an empty fanny pack, a toiletry bag, a collapsible cup and a few other things in it. The fabric feels sturdy to me but also a bit…crinkly. I’m not sure how to describe it.I think that maybe the only thing that I don’t like about it at the moment would probably be that it’s not as structured as I was hoping it would be…but for the price, it’s a good bag, in my opinion. I also like that it’s made out of recycled material. I could see myself using it on my trip.

The first thing I thought when opening this is – Spirit Airlines must not be as restrictive as I thought when it comes to carry-on. This is a big bag. You can fit enough stuff for a weekend getaway here and it’s bigger than most backpacks. I guess from the pics I thought it would be some type of messenger bag – it’s not – it’s a big spacious carry-on – think oversized gym bag. For under $20, it’s a really good price especially when you know it fits Spirit’s strict bag guidelines. Really nice looking nylon bag at an affordable price and really much more spacious than you are imagining.
