When I click on the link it says 9am CT, but the countdown suggests it may actually be 9am ET–it’s saying it goes live in 34 minutes. Not sure, but it may be worth checking at 9:00 ET.

Pitiful website. I logged in at exactly 9:00 and “snagged” one. Then it says you’re in line to check out estimated wait time 30 minutes. Who has 30 minutes to wait to check out a free bag. Really? Your website is so poor that you need 30 minutes to check out. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity but my time is worth more than the big big
And it says items in your cart are not reserved until you complete checkout. So by the time it rolls around to my turn they may all be gone anyway. Aldi should be somewhat embarrassed.

I was able to add one to a cart (9:05 am CT) and now there is a message that I am in line to check out with an estimated wait time of 45 minutes. It also states items in your cart are not reserved until you complete check out.

I had one reserved in my cart at 9:00am with a 14 minute wait to check out, by the time it was my turn they were sold out. 🙁
WOW waited in line 12 min, got in as soon as it turned to 9:00 and after waiting when it was my turn to fill the info it said sold out ☹️
That was a total joke. I clicked right at 10. Was told 15 minute wait. At the 14 minute point it was sold out. No point in making people hang around for nothing.

I supposedly had one, and after the wait went all the way from 30 to nine minutes it was suddenly sold out. Grrr!

I was inline at 9:01 with a wait time of 26 minutes to check out. Received a pop up that bags were sold out at 9:15.

Why is it when they do this and they show a countdown to when it’s available, I go before that time and it says sold out. It’s like this with all of this kind of stuff. I think I’ll avoid the disappointment in the future.
Another marketing Epic Failure. These companies are never prepared.
It is not an epic failure if they are collecting data based on all the traffic to the website. It is a marketing ploy. Now people will look out for the bags and buy them. It’s a scam.
These are really sturdy bags. I picked up a few the last time I was in Germany. Mine were not free but still awesome.
