Heel pain, arch pain, foot fatigue? Meet Kuru shoes…

woman holding sandals, sneakers, and loafers

I’m speaking from experience when I say that when foot pain gets in the way of your goals, the right footwear becomes non-negotiable. 🙅🏽‍♀️ A few months ago, I discovered KURU shoes, and the arch support, shock-absorbing cushioning, and a spacious toe box are amazing. They definitely help me move freely and will help me stay consistent with my movement goals in the New Year!

I’m at the age now where I prioritize my feet and comfort because I want to keep doing the things I love with my family and reaching my health goals. When you realize that foot pain can lead to low energy, reduced mobility, and posture issues, you take it seriously!

While maybe more than you’d spend on other shoes, my Hip teammate, Bryn, and I both think KURU shoes are worth the investment as they’re insanely comfortable and make a noticeable difference.

Do you experience any of these issues when wearing shoes?

  • Arch pain – improper support can lead to general foot pain, plantar fasciitis, or overpronation
  • Foot fatigue – many insoles don’t offer enough structure to absorb shock, especially for those who are on their feet all day
  • General foot pain – narrow toe boxes combined with flat footbeds restrict the natural movement of your feet. Over time, foot pain can also affect your hips & knees

The right pair of supportive shoes can be a game-changer. With built-in comfort and stability, KURU shoes help ease pain at the source so you can stay active! 🎉

Best for: Cozy support, indoor/outdoor use 👇

⭐️ My top choice! I am beyond impressed with the heel support in these ‘slipper’ shoes, because when does that ever happen with this kind of comfy moccasin? Cozy AND supportive, count me in! They lock in your heel, but have a wide toe box and cozy all-around cushion.

Best for: Walking 👇

Now you don’t have to sacrifice style with comfort, even on sunny days! These sandals have built-in arch support and a cork footbed that molds to the shape of your foot. Plus, genuine leather, stretchy straps for the perfect aesthetic!

Best for: All-day shoe or running 👇

These sneakers are built for premium relief with heel-hugging tech and a softer, springier insole than ever before. That means softer landings with every step, and all-day comfort that never stops.

More honest feedback from Hip2Save team member, Bryn: I actually packed these on a recent trip to Hawaii and ended up wearing them every single day – and we’re talking 10+ miles of walking (and even some running!) on all kinds of terrain. From sidewalks to beach paths to wandering the resort, I honestly wore them more than my flip-flops some days. Not only are they super cute (always a win!), but the comfort level surprised me in the best way.

I deal with plantar fasciitis, so I’m usually that person pulling out the original insoles and spending extra money on special arch supports for all my shoes. I especially love that these already have built-in support (no swapping, no extra inserts, and no added cost). My feet felt supported all day, and I didn’t get that achy, “I need to take these off immediately” feeling after long days. Total shoe win!

Have you tried the ROMA Alta? They are on sale for $90. I have really high arches and plantar fasciitis. I’m looking for a slip on shoe. I wear vionic sandals but their sneakers don’t have enough arch support for me. I have some oofos flip flops I love but their reviews on their sneakers say they are slippery in the rain.

Hey there! I checked with Lina on your question, and here’s what she shared with me – “I do love and wear Vionic – these are even more supportive to be honest. imo. I think you would be pleased. Not familiar with other brands!” 💗
