I bought these for a car trip, and my kids (ages 10, 8, 5) LOVED them. Kept them all 3 busy for several hours. The downside is they produce a colored residue – the scratched off stuff – which made a mess in the car. The mess vacuumed up easily, so that was well worth the hours of entertainment in the car, but I wouldn’t want them around the house all the time.
This is a great activity for kids on the go. I leave them in my car so kids have something to keep them occupied with while we are driving. There is some small debris from the wood pencil scratching the paper during their “coloring”, but I prefer this over markers or crayons.
These were fun for my 3 yr old niece. I like that you don’t have to have separate markers, paint or anything to create a mess or stains. Would recommend
