The material is thicker and of better quality than most flannel shirts. I recently paid over $110 for two flannel shirts from UnTuckIt.com (returned immediately), and these Amazon Essentials were nicer looking and had a much better fit. Very pleased and will definitely buy again!

The extra large fit me perfectly! I’m 5’7″ and 180lbs with a 35″ waist. The large would have worked, but I prefer a little extra room. Very comfortable medium weight shirt. No shrinkage or wrinkles when washed!

This is a warm, thick cotton check shirt. Perfect for my current largely outdoors/off grid existence. My sizing is large on a good day, and this has a little slack in it to be able to work whilst covering midriff and kidneys. The sleeves are plenty long enough, though mine are always rolled up. The quality is high, given the price – up there with a similar shirt I have in from Patagonia, in terms of both material and workmanship. I will be buying more – in fact the wife insists on it (so it stands a chance of getting washed before spring comes!)
