This model is awful. Bought it last year. I’m very ocd and clean things like crazy.. so it wasn’t a hygiene issue. This toothbrush had so much mold it was insane. It gathers in areas that you can’t clean inside the brush. They refuse to return for store credit or another model of toothbrush, but they were aware of the area that traps water causing mold. I wish I could upload my pictures. I got very sick and this toothbrush is why.. avoid!!!!!!
Just out of curiosity.. I had my son test the mold at his work. It was 100% the cause to why I was critically sick. Sorry, not trying to be a Debbie downer. Just want to warn others, so none has to experience the things I went through. Blessings. ❤️
I appreciate you valuable comment, I have had some un explained illness related symptoms. I have had this tooth brush for about 2 1/2 to 3 years. Now I am going to further reasearch this. I have had shortness of breath voice loss arm weakness. I have rolled it all of to, ( I am not getting any younger) I have an appointment tomorrow and it is to look at my vocal cord to see if I need a procedure performed to help with getting my voice back.
I wa a thinking about buying this set for my son and his girl friend for Christmas, but I need to think more on this.
We have this model and we have loved them. The replaceable toothbrush heads are replaced every couple of months. Weekly I clean my toothbrush and the toothbrush head with peroxide. Works great. My battery life started to decrease after 11 months time frame. The warranty was still good and the customer service replaced the toothbrush with a new handle. I sent it in and received the new one in 1 week. Love that you can buy the toothbrushes and toothbrush heads at Sam’s. They are on sale regularly during the year!!
