Earn free drinks and food even faster during Starbucks Star Days!
Today, September 20th only, Starbucks is hosting Double Star Day for Rewards Members (free to join), and you’ll earn twice as many bonus stars for ordering your favorite food or drinks!
To qualify for the bonus offer, open up your Starbucks app and head to the offers section. You’ll want to click on ‘Activate Now’ and you’ll be ready to start earning.
Note that you’ll need to make sure you pay with your registered Starbucks Card, a linked payment method, or scan your Starbucks app prior to checkout to earn your stars.
How does Starbucks Rewards work?
Whether you’re a regular customer or you just stop in on occasion, the Starbucks Rewards Program is a must! First of all, it’s completely free to join. Aside from earning stars for every purchase, they occasionally offer special promotions to earn bonus stars.
Starbucks Rewards members earn perks with every purchase!
- 25 Stars: Swap in any milk substitutions, syrups, or an extra shot of espresso free of charge.
- 100 Stars: Brewed hot or iced coffee or tea, bakery item, packaged snack, and more.
- 200 Stars: Grab a free handcrafted drink (including Cold Brew, Lattes, and more) or a hot breakfast item.
- 300 Stars: Indulge in a free protein box, salad, or sandwich, or take home a bag of coffee!
- 400 Stars: Signature mug, drink tumbler, or select coffee merch (you’ll pay the difference if the cost is over $20).
Reloading your Starbucks card and paying directly on the app allows you to receive two stars for every dollar. If you pay with your card or cash, you can still scan for rewards and will get one star for every dollar. If you bring a reusable Starbucks cup, you’ll also save 10¢ with every purchase, and Starbucks Rewards members will also score 2x the stars on their purchase. Awesome!
