Lisa, I hate to color my hair so often because it’s very damaging. I use to use the sprays and they were pricy, you go through them quickly, and they are messy to apply (I would find spray on my counter, floor and white bathroom cabinets). I’m 50% grey and 100% grey on my part line. I love this product. I do not find the sponge application messy (as some reviewers state). This product last forever! I routinely go about 3 months now between coloring. It’s a little tricky in the summer with swimming so I try and time my coloring accordingly. The product does not come off on my pillow at night. I don’t wash my hair daily since it’s so dry and coarse and occasionally I do need to reapply some powder in the morning …not sure where it goes because it isn’t on my white pillow case. I’ve been so happy with the product. So much better than the sprays. You’ll love it. 😉

I have single gray hairs that are as long as my normal hair in certain areas of my head. Do you think this would work on those hairs? They may be hard to isolate from my hair that isn’t gray.
Hi Erica! I think this can work, but I’m not sure if you’d be able to separate the single strands of gray from the rest of your hair. I would just rub the pad through the length of my hair wherever it was gray. Hope that helps!

I have a back-part that makes it look like I’m balding. I put Style Edit directly on my scalp and back-part quickly disappears!

I love their spray – use it regularly on my part but it is hard to get the spray to cover my temples and areas right at my face without getting it on my face (and thus, staining my face). I’m going to try this. With both the spray and powder, I hope I can cover all of the grey!

Does it leave residue on pillows or clothing?
Hi there! If you were to apply it and right away and then were to lay down on a pillow you might see some of the coloring rub off, but overall I definitely have not had issues with this getting on clothing or pillows!
I’m not seeing the coupon now for the sponge application. I’ll try the others.
I see the problem – the color I need is medium brown and that one doesn’t have a coupon, but other colors offer the coupon.
