SeaWorld Waves of Honor Program | Free Park Passes for Military Veterans & 3 Guests
Military members can get FREE SeaWorld tickets thanks to the Waves of Honor program!
For a limited time, Military Veterans, retirees, and honorably separated officers can score up to 4 FREE tickets to select SeaWorld Parks for yourself and up to three guests through the Waves of Honor Program!
To snag your free tickets, you’ll need to register with GOVX to verify your Veteran status, and then you’ll be able to see your available offers.
Typically through the year, only active-duty service members qualify for a free ticket to SeaWorld parks while Veterans receive discounted tickets, so this is a nice way to say thank you to our Veterans! Many of the parks offer additional savings to all Military personnel throughout the year. Keep reading to learn more about the Waves of Honor program.
Veterans can choose from free tickets to these SeaWorld parks…
- Up to 4 free tickets to U.S. Veterans to SeaWorld Orlando (for you and up to three guests)
- Must register online and print tickets by May 12th and the visit must occur by July 7th.
- Former service member must provide military ID at the front gate.
- Up to 4 free tickets to U.S. Veterans to SeaWorld Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, or Sesame Place (for you and up to three guests)
- Must register online and print tickets by May 12th and the visit must occur by July 7th.
- Up to 4 free tickets to U.S. Veterans to SeaWorld San Diego (for you and up to three guests)
- Must be redeemed at SeaWorld San Diego for visitation by May 27th.
- The Veteran must be present with guests upon redemption at the park for visitation.
- Unlimited visits to the theme park, water park, and general parking through January 5th, 2025. The option to upgrade to include Aquatica San Antonio is available.
- Offer ends September 2nd, 2024
- Veteran service member must provide military ID at the front gate.

What locations offer SeaWorld Military Tickets through the Waves of Honor program?
There are currently 10 different parks participating in this amazing program. They not only offer free Waves of Honor tickets, but many offer other deals too, like Military Passes for active military members and free or discounted tickets for veterans!
Each location has specific requirements to use the offers. You and your family may need to show military IDs, so make sure to read the fine print carefully before driving to the park!
Select parks also offer a 2024 Military Pass.
In addition to one-time use free tickets, many of the parks are offering a special 2024 Military Pass. These passes are offered at affordable prices and grant you unlimited access to the park plus general parking. Several of the parks allow an active military member to buy a certain amount of these passes for their family members too!
These passes are not available to buy at the gate so you’ll want to purchase them beforehand by visiting the Waves of Honor website and verifying your government status.
Here’s the scoop on each location and the deals they offer:
SeaWorld Orlando
Waves of Honor One-Time Complimentary Tickets: any U.S. active-duty military, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman can receive one complimentary admission per year to either SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, or Sesame Place Philadelphia for military personnel and as many as three direct dependents.
Military personnel and up to five guests can also score a 50% off discount on SeaWorld Orlando Single Day Tickets (limit of 6).
SeaWorld & Aquatica Orlando 2024 Military Pass: This pass costs just $169.99 and grants active military members unlimited visits and general parking to both parks through December 31, 2024. You may purchase up to 6 passes for family members.
SeaWorld San Antonio
Waves of Honor One-Time Complimentary Tickets: any U.S. active duty military, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman can receive one complimentary admission per year to either Aquatica San Antonio, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, or Sesame Place for military personnel and as many as three direct dependents. This cannot be used during special ticketed events.
2024 Military Pass: This pass grants active military members unlimited visits to the park, water park, and general parking through January 5th, 2025. You can also upgrade to include Aquatica San Antonio. Visit the Waves of Honor website for pricing.
SeaWorld San Diego
Waves of Honor One-Time Complimentary Tickets: military personnel and up to three direct dependents receive one complimentary admission to SeaWorld San Diego. This offer also extends to any U.S. active duty military member, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman.
2024 Military Pass: This pass grants active military members unlimited visits to the park and general parking through December 31st, 2024. Visit the Waves of Honor website for pricing.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Waves of Honor One-Time Complimentary Tickets: any U.S. active duty military, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman can receive one complimentary admission per year to either SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, or Sesame Place for military personnel and as many as three direct dependents.
Veteran Discount: former military personnel and up to five guests can score a 50% off discount on Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Single Day Tickets. Note there is a limit of 6 discounted tickets.
Busch Gardens Williamsburg
Waves of Honor One-Time Complimentary Tickets: military personnel and up to three direct dependents can receive one complimentary admission per year to either SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, or Sesame Place. Note that Military guests must register online, print tickets, and visit by November 3rd, 2024.
Active Military 1-Day Discounted Tickets: Active-Duty Military can get up to six discounted tickets to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA. Note that these must be obtained online and redeemed at the park within one year from the date of purchase.
Busch Gardens & Water Country USA 2024 Military Pass: This pass grants active military members and their families unlimited visits to the park, water park, and general parking through January 1st, 2025. This includes special events like Howl-O-Scream and Christmas Town. Visit their website to verify your status and get pricing.
Veteran Discount: U.S. Veterans, retirees, and Inactive Ready Reservists who have been honorably served can purchase up to six discounted tickets to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA.
Sesame Place Philadelphia
Waves of Honor One-Time Complimentary Tickets: any U.S. active duty military, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman and up to 3 direct dependants can receive one complimentary admission per year to SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, or Sesame Place Philadelphia.
Sesame Place Philadelphia 2024 Military Pass: This pass grants active military members unlimited visits to the park and general parking through January 6th, 2025. Visit their website to verify your status and get pricing.
Veteran Discount: qualified service members and veterans including retired, honorably separated officers and enlisted personnel of the U.S. military can purchase up to 6 tickets for 50% off.
Sesame Place San Diego
Sesame Place San Diego 2024 Military Pass: For just $89.99, active military members can get unlimited visits to the park and general parking through December 31st, 2024. Military members can buy up to 6 passes so their family members can enjoy the park too!
Active military members can also purchase up to 4 discounted single-day tickets for use during the 2024 park season.
Veteran Discount: Veterans can purchase up to 6 tickets for 50% off – note that they must be redeemed by May 27th, 2024.
Aquatica Orlando
Waves of Honor One-Time Complimentary Tickets: any U.S. active duty military, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman can receive one complimentary admission per year to either SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, or Sesame Place for military personnel and as many as three direct dependents.
SeaWorld & Aquatica Orlando 2024 Military Pass: Active-Duty Military and their families can score unlimited visits to SeaWorld and Aquatica Orlando and general parking through December 31st, 2024 for only $169.99 each (normally priced at $209.99). Active-duty military may purchase up to six passes.
Veteran Discount: former military personnel and up to five guests can score a 50% off discount on Aquatica Orlando Single Day Tickets. Note that there is a limit of 6 discounted tickets.
Aquatica San Antonio
Waves of Honor One-Time Complimentary Tickets: any U.S. active duty military, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman can receive one complimentary admission per year to either Aquatica San Antonio, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, or Sesame Place for military personnel and as many as three direct dependents.
2024 Military Pass: This affordable pass grants active military members or Military Veterans and their families unlimited visits to the theme park, water park, and general parking through January 5th, 2025 – plus the option to upgrade to include Aquatica San Antonio is available. Visit their website for pricing. Note that this offer is only valid through September 2nd, 2024.
Discovery Cove
Waves of Honor Discounted Tickets: Active military members, National Guardsmen, and activated or drilling reservists and as many as three direct dependents can receive discounted tickets to Discovery Cove and for their Signature Dolphin Swim Package.
Veteran Discount: former military personnel and up to three guests can score discounted rates on Discovery Cove admission and the Signature Dolphin Swim Package. Note there is a limit of 4 discounted tickets.
