DIY Farmhouse Style Christmas Tree Sign Printable – AND Magnetic Frame Hack!
This DIY farmhouse Christmas sign is the easiest and cheapest DIY holiday decor!
Deck the halls with a DIY farmhouse Christmas sign this season!
To say I love decorating with stylish Christmas decor is a little bit of an understatement (the many Christmas bins in my garage are a sign of my obsession). LOL, it’s pretty much my favorite activity of all time. Decorating my home each year truly brings me such joy and is something that I look forward to.
Make a DIY Farmhouse Christmas sign this season.
I always love the idea of having a large focal point Christmas sign over my mantel. Rather than buy another item for Christmas, I just switched out my kindness-themed free printable poster to a new Christmas design. I still LOVE my frame, and I was able to make it for under $20! Now I can just swap out the poster for different seasons and looks.
Here’s the new Christmas print!
I designed my own version of these trendy Christmas Tree signs I’ve been seeing online and in retail shops. I love that it’s a simple black and white typography sign, and you can have yours printed as a larger size like mine, or a smaller size if desired.
Not a crafty person or don’t feel like building a frame? My Hip teammate Emily has a solution!
Magnetic Poster Hanger Frame, 19″, 2-pack $22.49
That makes each one just $11.25!
Emily swears by these magnetized wooden frames that are incredibly easy to use when framing large prints. Simply separate the two wooden slats, place the edge of the print on top of one slat with the magnetic part facing up, and then place the second slat magnetic face side down on top and they will snap together to secure the print. Easy peasy!
Emily used an 18″x24″ print in a 19″ magnetic frame.
Did I mention the print itself was under $2?!
Yup! When you go with an engineering print or blueprint, you’ll save TONS at print stores like Office Depot or Staples. When opting for a simple design with just black ink, you can get large-scale prints for just a couple bucks.
Here are some ways you can save while printing your own engineering print:
Office Depot Custom Blueprint 24 lb 18″x24″ $1.79
Save 15% off when you clip the coupon
Final cost just $1.53!
Staples Engineering Prints starting at $1.89
FedEx Engineering Prints Black and White starting at $2.25

I love that I’m able to re-use my wood frame by just replacing it with a print that only cost me a few bucks! It looks much more expensive than that, in my opinion. Such a great project.

Ah yay! I’m excited for you ❤️
Thank you. Not sure how I missed this gem!
Thanks Corina!
I place my order for 5 of that cute poster and will pick up later this evening! I can’t wait to get my order from JoAnn to make a beautiful red truck with a Christmas tree fleece blanket that will be given to my dearest co-worker along with that poster for her Christmas!! Hey if you have a different poster of red truck with a Christmas tree and I would love to order that poster too! Thank you for sharing this with us!
Oh how thoughtful of you! So glad you love this printable too.
Another idea for a frame, use an old window pane! My mother in law gifted me two large engineer print photos of my twin boys in an old wooden glass double window, and it is one of my favorites! She cut photo down to size, then placed a cardboard sheet on the back.
Oh that is a neat idea! Very nice! Thanks for sharing.
How awesome. Thanks for sharing. ❤
