Thank you for posting this information, and raising awareness of the need for blood donors. I became a regular donor in 2023 after seeing both my mom and sister receive life-saving transfusions. Sometimes the hospital didn’t have their blood type (A+, a fairly common type) to give because of a shortage.
Knowing the critical level of need for blood motivates me to push past the inconvenience of being a donor. Especially when I know that my loved ones were saved by the donations of others. Thank you 🙂
