Cosori Recalls Over 2 Million Air Fryers Due to Fire & Burn Hazards
In cooperation with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (USCPSC), Cosori has voluntarily recalled some of its popular air fryers.
A recent investigation revealed that the closed-end crimp connectors in the recalled air fryers can overheat, causing potential fire and burn hazards. So far, there have been over 200 reports of the air fryers catching fire, burning, melting, overheating, or smoking. These include 10 reports of superficial burn injuries and 23 reports of minor property damage.
A list of the recalled models can be found below or at Cosori.com. Check the bottom of your air fryer to locate the model number, which will appear on a sticker from the manufacturer. If your model number is not on this list, then it is not part of this recall.
If your Cosori air fryer is affected by this recall, you should stop using it immediately and complete a recall registration form to request a free replacement product. More information can be found in the FAQs listed at the bottom of Cosori’s recall page.
Consumers with additional questions or in need of further assistance can call Cosori’s toll-free recall support hotline at 888-216-5974 Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM EST.
