Have you heard about this Dollar General class action lawsuit?

Attention shoppers! If you shopped at Dollar General between October 10th, 2016, and November 19th, 2025, you may be eligible for a cash payment as part of a class action lawsuit.
What is the lawsuit about?
Dollar General has agreed to an $8.5 million settlement to resolve claims that it charged customers higher prices at the registers than advertised on the shelves. At this time, DG has not admitted to any wrongdoing but has agreed to a cash payment for overcharges.
Who is eligible for this settlement?
Customers who have proof of an overcharged purchase (that has not been previously settled by Dollar General) and submit a claim HERE can receive a payment of $10 or the amount of the actual overcharge, whichever is higher. Customers can receive up to two payments for a maximum household recovery of $20.
All customers who submit a claim are also eligible for an in-store discount of $3 off any $10 purchase; however, dates for this in-store discount have not been announced.
*The final approval hearing for the settlement is scheduled for March 19, 2026 – so be sure to submit your claims ASAP!
