Walmart’s Great Value Apple Juice Has Been Recalled – Here’s Why!

Hold the juice! Shoppers may want to check their kitchens for recent purchases of Walmart’s Great Value Apple Juice.
A voluntary recall was issued for 9,535 units of their 6-packs of Great Value Apple Juice. These packs were sold in over 25 states with a Best Buy Date of December 28, 2024, and may contain high levels of arsenic. 😬
The contaminated packs contained 6 plastic bottles of 8oz apple juices. This juice tested slightly higher at 13 ppb (parts per billion) than the recommended levels 10 ppb that the FDA recommends to stay at or under.
So far, no reports of illnesses have been made and the recall is classified as Class II. This means any effects may be temporary or reversible.
However, we recommended you toss any that you have bought or contact Walmart to see if they are willing to give a refund or exchange.
These products were sold at Walmart stores in the following states: AL, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MS, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, PR, RI, SC, TN, VA, VT, WV. See Walmart’s full list which includes store addresses.
