Labubu Fans Beware! Don’t Buy These Plush Toys Until You Read This
Buyers beware! Fake Labubus could do more harm than good!

Have you seen fake Labubus floating around? If so, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) strongly urges against purchasing these counterfeit dolls, sometimes known as “Lafufus”, due to a potential choking hazard.
These fake plush and plush keychains are small enough to fit in a child’s mouth and can block the airways. They can also easily break apart into small pieces, posing a choking hazard.
Consumers are strongly advised not to purchase these counterfeit products and to stop using them immediately.
How do I spot a fake Labubu?
- Real Pop Mart Labubu dolls have a holographic Pop Mart sticker, scannable QR code, and (on newer editions) a subtle UV stamp on one foot.
- Fake Labubus are usually the wrong color (overly bright) and have the wrong number of teeth (real dolls have nine)
- Only purchase from trusted sellers. As a rule of thumb, deep discounts usually mean fake.
