Did You File This Apple Siri Claim? Money Is Hitting Inboxes NOW

If you filed a claim last year in the Lopez Voice Assistant Settlement, now’s the time to search your inbox… payments are officially being sent.
In fact, one of our Hip2Save team members just received an eCheck for $40.10 and another just received an eCheck for $16.04 so this is legit! Note that payment amounts vary depending on how many eligible Siri-enabled devices were approved in your claim.
Follow These Steps to Ensure the eCheck is Deposited:
- Check your Inbox, Spam, Promotions and/or Trash folders for an email from: noreply@clearpathpayments.firsthorizon.com with a subject line similar to: “Lopez et al. v. Apple Inc. … has sent a payment”
- Scroll down and click on the blue “Click here to deposit this payment” button
- Enter your phone number when prompted to receive a verification code
- Enter your bank information to enable the deposit
- Allow up to 3 business days to access the funds
Note: The email may look automated or unfamiliar, but it’s related to the official settlement payout.
What Was This Settlement About?
This lawsuit involved claims that Siri on certain Apple devices may have unintentionally activated and recorded parts of private conversations. While Apple denied wrongdoing, the company agreed to a settlement.
People who owned Siri-enabled devices (like iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, Macs, HomePods, Apple TVs, etc.) and experienced an unintended Siri activation during a private conversation between September 17, 2014 and December 31, 2024 may have qualified to file a claim for payment per device (up to a limit). That’s why payouts now differ from person to person.
