Wait… There’s Been Sugar in Your Chicken?! Tyson Just Announced a Big Change
Here’s everything that Tyson Foods is removing from its ingredient list! 👍🏼

Did you know there’s been sugar in chicken this whole time?! Yep, some Tyson chicken products have actually contained high fructose corn syrup (say what?!).
The good news is that Tyson Foods just announced that by the end of 2025, they’re ditching high fructose corn syrup (and a bunch of other not-so-great additives like sucralose, BHA/BHT, and titanium dioxide) across brands like Tyson®, Jimmy Dean®, Hillshire Farm®, Wright®, State Fair®, Aidells®, ibp®, and more. For the full details, head here.
We’ll take chicken without added sugar any day, thank you very much! Hopefully more brands catch on and follow suit.

Oh man I’m very allergic to sucralose and I never would have thought to check the ingredients of meat for it. I’m curious what products have it
Thanks for mentioning this—it’s definitely worth double-checking labels. 🤗
