Verizon Customers: Check Your Account for a Possible $20 Credit!
You may be able to receive a Verizon refund!

On January 14th, many Verizon customers experienced an outage of voice and data services. This outage lasted almost 12 hours, and now Verizon is offering a $20 credit to affected customers.
Note that this credit is not automatically applied. Follow the steps below to claim the credit.
Eligible customers must log into the myVerizon app and “accept” the credit. Verizon says customers will receive a text message when the credit is available to claim. So if you’re not seeing it yet, it may simply not be live on your account.
Here’s how to claim your $20 Verizon credit…

Option 1 (most common): Home screen banner
- Open myVerizon
- Tap Home
- Look for a banner/card like:
-
- “$20 credit available”
- “Accept account credit”
- “Verizon outage credit”
Option 2: Notifications/inbox inside the app
- Open myVerizon
- Tap the bell icon (top right) / Notifications
- Look for a message about the $20 outage credit and tap Accept
Option 3: Bills section
- Open myVerizon
- Tap Bill
- Look for a tile/banner that mentions a credit you can claim

I had an email and claimed it in the app. I have internet only. Not mobile.
