It’s safe to say I am a raving fan of them ever since I was gifted a pair last Christmas, but I’ll admit, had they not been a gift, I’m not sure I would have been up for paying the hefty price tag. 😓

There are some differences between the Kohl’s slippers and UGG slides…

UGG slides come in endless amounts of colors and patterns which could be why so many shoppers gravitate toward them. Although these Kohl’s slippers have only four colors, I actually think this is a pretty good color range available.

Off the bat, the quality of the slippers Kohl’s offers is impressive and similar. There are also over 400 reviews with a 4.4-star rating! ⭐️

The UGG Fluff Yeah Slide is made of 80% upcycled wool and 20% lyocell lining. With a 10mm sheepskin upper and insole, it has the infamous elastic wrap that prints the UGG logo all over.

In contrast to UGG, the slippers Kohl’s has are actually sustainably sourced, which is a huge win in my book. They feature that same fuzzy top except it’s made with faux fur. These slippers are made with 80% recycled polyester and 20% regular polyester. The back strap is similar to the UGG slippers too, which offers the same support the more I walked with them.

The biggest contrast in my opinion between the two slippers is the platform/sole of the shoe. The UGG slippers feature a platform that’s light yet strong, withstanding my weight without sinking the slipper. This is why you can comfortably wear it outside and have almost no issues.

On the other hand, the UGG platforms have simultaneously been the slipper’s demise. Since the platform is a little steep, it can be easy for your foot to slip off. If we’re looking at the worst-case scenario, this can potentially result in a twisted ankle. 😬 With the Sonoma Goods slippers, the platform isn’t high enough to pose this issue, which is a huge relief!

The memory foam bottom is very comfortable when walking around the house. However, I’m not sure they have the same longevity to be able to stand up to frequent outside walking wear and tear. This isn’t a huge con if you were just looking for a casual pair of slippers around the house, but I figured it’s worth mentioning.

Sometimes, I also feel the UGG Slides are a little too heavy to constantly walk around in. The Sonoma Goods slippers are extremely light as if you’re walking on tiny clouds, which I can’t get enough of. 😍

Are these Kohl’s slippers Hip approved? Yes, yes, and YES!

As we firmly believe at Hip, you do not need to spend a ton of money to feel and look good. I’m fully loving these Kohl’s slippers not only for their likeness to my UGGs, but also because they won’t break the bank, are totally giftable, and are eco-friendly! Even my mom keeps eyeing my Kohl’s slippers, so I may just have to get another pair for her to so she doesn’t snag mine. 😂
