Alright, friends, I’m gonna keep it real here about my typical skincare routine. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have heard me mention in the past about my non-existent skincare routine. 😬
I’ve truly never really had a skincare routine… like, not even face washing before bed. Hey, I do brush my teeth, though.
Call it lucky or call it lazy, 🤪 I’ve just never really been into a tedious skincare regimen. However, things have changed since I discovered Uncommon Beauty products from Uncommon James! I’ve been using them for just over a month now and I’m definitely impressed by how much my sensitive skin seems to love their products.

With my sensitive skin, I’m not someone who loves the idea of using tons of different skincare products. Plus, many other skincare products I’ve used in the past cause my sensitive skin to have a reaction. Using less really is more!
I absolutely LOVE the simplicity of this beauty line and that they only have just a few perfectly clean products (just 5 to be exact).
My favorite product, by far, is the Uncommon James Pineapple Peptide Nectar.
It’s basically a magical vitamin C serum that just makes my skin feel so refreshed every morning. I’ve also noticed such a gorgeous glow since using it daily… and I’m still not washing my face consistently before bed (I’m working on it!), so this stuff is incredible! 🤣

Can you tell us how long these last before you need to reorder?
I feel like they last much longer than you’d think based on the size of the bottles. The serum I have been using daily and it’s almost 1/2 way gone so I’d say 2 to 3 months – possibly more depending on how often you apply them. Hope this helps!
I’d like to see a head-to-head between some of these and the Ordinary’s closest products. Ordinary’s The Buffet serum (with peptides) is $15 out performs serum that I’ve paid a lot more for. Their hyaluronic acid is also legendary at about $10. Also, I’d love to compare this balm to the Honest Company’s balm available at Target, and the water cream to the Bliss Drench & Quench water cream at Target (deluxe sample is around $5 to try).
