Bought a set with the shampoo brush, a comb and a detangling brush formunder $4, just as an FYI. Had no idea this was a shampoo brush 🙂

    • Donnarn67

What was the name of it ?

    • Momma of 9(almost)

I use a scalp brush that looks similar to the one pictured when I “wash” my hair. I don’t use shampoo or conditioner or any chemical-laden products on my hair. I simply “wash” or rinse with water as needed(not daily). My natural hair oils have my hair looking great and sometimes I add shine with coconut oil. My hair has never looked better.

  2. Julie

I bought into the hype a while back and purchased that silicone shampoo brush. I really wish I had saved my money. It works fine at scrubbing my scalp, but no better than my own fingernails.

    • Erin

Ditto. I had it in my Amazon cart for a while and stumbled on one at Dollar Tree. Works fine for the nail biters among us 😆 but nothing earth shattering. I didn’t notice any “pulling” either, but I’m glad I only paid $1.

  3. Kathleen

It gets caught in our hair when using in the shower 😥

    • Hunterwoody

Horse people use a similar brush to shed horses hair so I can imagine!!

  4. Tracee

I bought the shampoo brushes. They are amazing!

  5. L

If you live near any beauty supply store, the “dermaplane” or eyebrow razors usually costs less than 2.00 and have a larger blade.

  6. Audrey

Makeup removing wipes are usually horrible for the environment. Please consider using micellar water or makeup dissolving gel.

    • Jill

Even better is the makeup eraser cloth that’s reusable for at least a 1,000 washes and when I say it takes off all ur makeup and leaves no residue. They’re amazing. I use it just to clean my face in the morning too.

  7. Mama6

Thank you for this post. I just ordered this mascara to try for the first time. I have downsized to one beauty box a month and I am focusing on cruelty free. I LOVE kinder box. This fits right in with my kinder make up routine 🙂

    • Irene (Hip Sidekick)

Awesome, Mama6! They are great boxes!

    • Mirela

      I really like the mascara!

    • Missy

I use this mascara and love it!

  8. Mary

Has anyone tried the truskin serum? Would appreciate some feedback before I purchase. I have fine lines on my forehead I would like to see diminish a bit. Wonder if this will help.

  9. Amy

I bought the mascara a few months ago! It definitely gives a more dramatic look, but I found it to be very clumpy. I usually go over the coat of mascara with a normal mascara wand after to smooth out the clumps.

    • Susi

I also purchased the mascara a few months back and find it very clumpy as well. It’s super thick & even wiping brush several times during use didn’t help all that much. I had high hopes for it as it has great reviews and is cruelty free

    • Missy

I use this mascara and have found that if I put on one coat and let it dry before adding more it helps not to clump. Not sure if that will help you or not. 🙂

  10. Judy

I bought the Revlon hairdryer a few years ago and it is my all time favorite! So much easier to dry my hair than the standard dryer and round brush.

  11. Liz

Actually prefer blow dryer and straightener over the revlon tool…takes too long to dry my thick hair and leaves it frizzier than normal. The mascara is also sold at Ulta, I liked it better than TooFaced mascara but still use my pink Maybelline Sensational one over those two. And the dermaplane razors I usually get at local dollar discount stores (3 pack for a $1)…just my 2 cents

  12. LISA LEE

    that mascara is GARBAGE

  13. lilihayman

The black disposable face masks are now $8.99, not $6.99. FYI

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I appreciate you letting us know, lilihayman! I’ve gotten that updated.
