This is such a fun Advent calendar for adults!
Although we haven’t gotten our hands on the 2020 Bonne Maman Advent calendar yet, the picture shown above gives you a peek inside last year’s calendar. The box was heavy-duty, well-made, and gift-quality (if you can bear to part with it)!
I immediately thought of my mom when it arrived, and I knew that her face would light up when she saw it. Plus, she loves jams and cute country decorations, so it was a total winner before she even tried any of the jellies!
The size of the jars included in the Bonne Maman Advent calendar is absolutely perfect. At 1-ounce, these samplers allow you to try all of the irresistible flavors of fruits and honey rather than having to buy large jars of them.
Among the 24 jars that are included, you’ll find some classic favorites and a sampling of delicious, limited-edition flavors like Rhubarb & Strawberry, Raspberry & Lychee, Sweet Orange & Passion Fruit, Cherry & Blackberry, and Mango, Peach, & Lime. You’re sure to discover some new favorites!
Love the jellies but don’t need an Advent calendar?
Here are a few ideas for what you can do with these mini jars if you’re not planning to use them to count down the days until Christmas:
- Host a brunch –Â How fun would it be to host a yummy brunch with decadent bread, muffins, pastries, and anything else that would go well with jams and honey?! Friends and family will love testing out the new flavors!
- Put a few out at your holiday parties – If your holidays are anything like mine, they’re jam-packed (pun intended) with festive parties. If you have a few get-togethers planned, then you can put a few new jams out at each party to make good use of them. Plus, they would also make a cute hostess gift if you’re attending a party at someone else’s home.
- Bring some to the office – There’s one thing that people in an office will never complain about, and that’s free food! If you don’t think you’ll use all 24 jars of jam on your own, surprise some coworkers and pick up a bag of bagels and bring a few jars with you for them to try out.
- Regift some in a holiday gift basket – I love putting together festive gift baskets, and these jams would not only be the perfect filler, but also a fun addition to any basket made for a foodie.
- Donate some to teachers or other essential workers – These jams would also make for a really cute teacher’s gift, or as a small thank you for anyone else you’d like to recognize this holiday season.
- Eat all of them on your own –Â It’s okay, you don’t have to share them if you don’t want to! They’re almost too cute to share. Lucky for you, they’re good through next summer as long as they’re not open, so feel free to take your time enjoying each and everyone with your morning toast!
My thoughts on last year’s Bonne Maman Advent calendar:
“I absolutely love this Advent Calendar! It’s high quality and I love that each jar is made of glass and that they all look so aesthetically pleasing. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but you get a lot of jam and honey! There are also so many different flavors that I normally wouldn’t get to try.
All the flavors have me so excited to try new foods and pair the jams and honey with things I’ve never tried before. Overall, I think this Advent Calendar would make the perfect gift for any friend, family member, or yourself. It’s so much fun to have an exciting new spread to try each day before Christmas!”

Yay! I missed out on this last time you shared it but I scored two this time! One for my little family and one for my grandma, who is always so hard to shop for! Thanks H2S!!
You’re so welcome! Glad you could grab a couple!
Thanks so much! I wasn’t quick enough last year, I was able to get one now though. My daughter will be so excited!
Yay! SO glad you could grab it this year! You’re very welcome!
I didn’t even know I needed this until right now. Just snagged mine, thanks!
You’re welcome, Brittany! 🙌
yes!!! i got one for my cousins.
Just ordered mine. Thanks so much for posting again I missed the 1st time you posted about it. Cannot wait to try all of them with my hubby.
You are welcome! It’s our pleasure! Enjoy, Julie!
That’s a great surprise!
I could not help myself from ordering one. Now the trick is to decide who to gift it to… I think my in-laws because they really have everything and maybe this would be fun for them. They have only left the house for Sunday drives since covid quarentine, a little excitement would be welcome. I know they would be creative with recipes, and enjoy toast. I also think the jars with checkered lids are fun and could be maybe useful for things.
I’m hoping to pair a couple jams with a deal on Wolfferman’s English muffins when one comes available. I think this would be a great teacher gift for Christmas!
Wish they had a sugar free variety.
I ordered last time you posted and it arrive yesterday. I cannot wait to give it to the recipients! A very cool gift indeed.
I stalked World Market last year so I could get one of these. We love flavored jams in our family, so I bought 2, one for us and one to gift. My girls are both in college but we couldn’t wait to try them so we used a few Thanksgiving morning, then a few more at Sunday breakfast. We were so disappointed. The flavors sound amazing, and a few of them were, but we couldn’t differentiate between several of the flavors. They were also very, very sweet. We ended up returning the 2nd set we were going to gift. Several of our little jars went moldy before we used them up, which is saying something because the jars are tiny and you have to use a lot to get any flavor. I will say the jars are cute.
Oh bummer! Thanks for your honest review on this calendar. Sorry to hear it wasn’t a hit!
Thanks so much for the helpful comment! We sure appreciate it!
Hi Maria! Be sure to check once more! I still find it available through the link above! Hoping you can grab it!
These are tiny and I find them very difficult to open. Love the raspberry in the full size!
