Grocery stores are thriving right now. Look for a local restaurant that is catering Christmas meals and help out a small business. I’m sure it’ll taste better too.

    • Anna

      Great idea Ashley

    • Ani

      👏👏👏

  2. Meg

I agree. Support your local restaurants and local small businesses! They need our support now more than ever…..

  3. MAP

I wish you had included options for smaller meals – 2 to 4 people. Especially considering the pandemic and large gatherings are highly discouraged.

    • Evie

I agree, I guess another frozen dinner or the wawa gobbler for me.
I can eat for 2 months on $140.

    • tipaye

That’s because they don’t exist. Most restaurants don’t cater meal kits for major holidays for a couple of people. They are packaged and priced to serve the average family, which is a family of 4+. This has nothing to do with the pandemic. I would recommend placing a take-out order at your restaurant of choice.

  4. ahhhchooo

If anyone of you are in the DMV area or King of Prussia, PA, Founding Farmers is doing a Christmas meal! they’re so good & seriously filling! highly recommend 😊

  5. Rebecca

As it’ll just be us & the kids this year, we’re keeping it super simple and untraditional. On Christmas Eve, we’re picking up pizza & beer from a couple local places. Then we’re just making a few apps & desserts at home. Honestly, we may continue it after this year lol.

  6. TS

Since we didn’t visit family for Thanksgiving this year, I had a holiday meal delivered to my elderly parents. I used the Hip2Save post about where to order meals for Thanksgiving. It was super-helpful and my parents enjoyed their meals. Thanks so much!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Aww, You’re SO very welcome! Glad to hear that list was helpful and that you could order them their Thanksgiving dinner! 💕
