Check out why Hip2Save team member Mary love these meal boxes:

I have been using EveryPlate for months and I really love it! I have tried many meal box plans, but I feel that EveryPlate offers the best value. Plus, I love that almost all of their meals are quick (30-45 minutes start to finish), easy to follow, and are recipes that I would not usually think of myself.

I get 3 EveryPlate meals each week for my family of 5 and rotate them throughout the week with other home-cooked meals, so I don’t have as much meal prep to do. I like knowing that when I’ve had a busy weekend and not had time to go to the store, that I can count on a home-cooked meal from EveryPlate!

Here’s how it works:

Choose your plan for either two or four people. Each plan includes three meals per week. Meals are updated on a weekly basis and EveryPlate works with a team of chefs to add up to eight new meal choices per week.

All of the ingredients are prepared, chilled, and packed right before every shipment to ensure you get the freshest meals possible. Even better, there’s no need to be home for delivery – each box includes insulated liners and ice packs to keep your meals cool and fresh so you don’t need to worry about being home when it arrives.

So it shows 49.88 for this week. I chose 4 people for 3 meals. Is that right? Is that a good deal? Can I choose the meals?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

That is 12 meals for $49.88 or $4.15 a meal for your order, T. Yes, you will be able to choose your meals.

      • Celina

So when it says $4.99 a serving that is for the total meal of 4 people?

        • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

No that would be $4.99 each multiplied by four people = $19.96.

if you have Miles app they have a coupon $15of $45 for 300pts, making meals around $2.5

  3. Pat

You all are so lucky. My brothers are challenged and the kids are picky eaters (my grand kids came to me that way) so I am lucky if they will eat 1-2 of the meals these meal deals sell. So lucky.

    • Karen

I’m in the same position, Pat. My son with autism is very picky, and he’s the only other person in my house. If I could order for one person or order only 2 meals a week, I would love it!

  4. Joan Thompson

I got this for my son for 4 weeks as a birthday gift. As a bachelor and avid gamer, he relied heavily on GrubHub, etc. He and his significant other are loving it! So far there has only been one meal that was just okay. Otherwise, all meals have been deemed delicious! He plans on continuing the subscription.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I love the idea of sending it to a grown child! I think you have given me a good Christmas idea, Joan Thompson!

  5. Susan

I have 21 year old twin boys that still live at home. I’ve been getting EveryPlate for a couple of months now. The agreement was that I would pay for the subscription if they would cook the meals ( and clean up ).
Let me tell you, we have loved it! The food is excellent and the recipes are easy to follow. My kids have learned how to work together, follow a recipe, and try new foods. They even make dinner from scratch on non-subscription nights. Heck, EveryPlate should hire me as a spokesperson! Lol

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

LOL! What a great agreement! It is wonderful that this has been such a success for your family! Thanks for sharing with us, Susan!

  6. Loralei McGee

As empty nesters trying to not eat out as much, my honey and I are loving EveryPlate. The meals are delicious, not as “out there” as some other meal subscriptions, and all are 25-35 minutes prep/cook time. We do the 5-meal plan and its $60. We could never buy groceries for 5 meals for that price!

    • Liza (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for sharing your feedback, Loralei! I love when the meals are something my family is more likely to eat, and being ready in 30 or so minutes is pretty great!

  7. Tammy

I’m trying to decide if I should order for 2 or 4. How big are the portions? Our daughter is off to college and our son eats like a bird so I’m leaning towards 2 if the portions are fairly large.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I think 2 might be too small, but four is too much. I have a teen boy that eats a lot and can eat 2 portions alone. I don’t eat a lot and one portion is enough. If you went with four, you could just plan for lunch leftovers the next day.
