If you’re looking for simple but fun activities that the kiddos can do this summer without breaking the bank, consider heading to your local Dollar Tree! You can grab most of these items for just $1 each to make the following easy activities/crafts – or you may even have some of these items on hand already.

1.) Pool Noodle Sprinkler

This is one of our favorite Dollar Tree DIY summer ideas! Just poke holes in a pool noodle, cover one end with duct tape, insert a hose in the opposite end and turn on the water. Enjoy!

2.) Magnetic Activity Board (or Chalkboard)

Grab a baking sheet, paint it with chalkboard paint, and the kids have an activity board to use in the car! Stick some magnetic letters on it as well for some educational fun. 😉
