Tow the Kids Around this Halloween with a Wagon that Fits their Costume!
This idea puts the “fun” in functional!
Little ones always get excited about Trick-or-Treating but sometimes the trek can be a bit much. I love the idea from Hip2Save reader Katy by incorporating a pull-along wagon into the overall costume for her grandkids!
In previous years, we decorated a wagon as a tank to go along with my grandson’s military Halloween costume. This year, we recycled the “tank” into a Polar Express train to fit his conductor costume.
By adding some additional boxes (thank you, Amazon purchases!), fresh paint, and some cute Polar Express accessories, it completed my grandsons’ costumes and they’re ready for October 31st!
I am all aboard for this cute idea! 🚂
Thank you, Katy, for sharing this fun DIY Halloween wagon and we hope your grandkids enjoy Trick-or-Treating in their custom Polar Express train!

Creative and cute!
That’s so creative!! Love it!
Cute….How do the kids get in and out to trick or treat at the houses?
You lift them?
We lifted them out but mostly people came out and handed them the candy. It was nice to have them contained at times 😁
Cute, cute, cute!! 👍👍
