Kids Skate FREE at Select Skating Centers Nationwide ALL Year
This program will keep your kids moving all year long!
Did you know that kids can roller skate for free at select skating centers all across the country? Kids Skate Free is a program that offers free roller skating passes for children so that they can have fun while staying active.
Much like Kids Bowl Free, this program was previously available during the summer months only, but now it’s offered all year long!
To find a participating roller rink near you, visit KidsSkateFree.com and select your state on the map or search by zip code. Choose the skating center near you for more information on how the program works at your local rink.
Each participating skating center determines its own dates, times, age restrictions, and skate rental policies, so these details will vary by area. If you don’t see your local rink on the list of skating centers near you, you can print out this letter to make them aware of the program and encourage their participation.
You can register up to four children for free roller skating passes at the center of your choice through the Kids Skate Free website. Please note that there is a one-time administrative setup fee of $4 per child, which is due upon registration.
After you’ve registered, watch your inbox for an email coming from the address notices@kidsskatefree.com. You’ll need to verify your email address in order to start receiving your free skating passes.
Once your email has been verified, free skating passes will be emailed to you every Monday. To redeem your passes, simply print them off and take them to your participating skating center.
Happy skating!
Is this just until the end of the summer? I couldn’t find any date details on my rink’s page
Hi Sara! It looks like you can get 2 free passes every week of the year. Some details may vary by location. Hope this helps!
If we weren’t mid pandemic, I’d be so excited about this.
Same!
My thoughts exactly. I got excited then found out that one rink by us is still closed. And the other is very hard to ge in w/reservations & other restrictions.
So sad our Wooddale skate zone just closed it’s doors for good lots of great memories.
The skating rink I registered for now says that a skate rental is required, even if you bring your own skates. At $4-6 per rental, that changes things alot. It did not say that when I signed up. I believe things like that probably do vary by location.
I have been trying to renew my kids skating pass and it keeps telling me the site is down
You may have to call your local skate center to ask, courtney.
I need some new cute dkates
