It’s official, Kohl’s new Drive Up service starts now!

Kohl’s customers can now pick up their orders at most of Kohl’s locations without ever entering the store! Kohl’s new Drive Up + Pop Your Trunk Pickup service is a free, limited-contact option that is available now at most stores between the hours of 11 AM and 7 PM local time.

With Kohl’s Drive Up + Pop Your Trunk Pickup, a Kohl’s associate will bring your order right out to your car, verify the order through your car window, and place it directly into your trunk or backseat. Customers don’t even need to get out of their cars!

Kohl’s drive up is not available in some stores due to COVID-19 regulations. Click here for the list of cities.

Similar to Kohl’s in-store pick-up service, eligible items on Kohls.com are marked as “Drive Up” and will be available to pick up within two hours at participating locations. Note that orders must be placed by 5 PM local time for same-day Drive Up at participating Kohl’s stores.

Follow these steps to place an order with Kohl’s Curbside Pickup:

  1. Order online or through the Kohl’s app and choose “Drive Up” or “Free Store Pickup” at checkout.
  2. Watch for an email saying that your order is ready
  3. Head to one of the designated parking spots at your Kohl’s store and bring the email with you (you can print your pickup notification email or the associate can view it on your mobile device).
  4. Check in when you arrive by calling the number you received in the email and then press 0.
  5. A Kohl’s associate will bring your order out and place it in your back seat or trunk.
  6. Note that your order will only be held at the store for 7 calendar days. If you do not pick it up within that timeframe, it will be canceled and the merchandise will be returned.

Drive Up is just one of the ways that Kohl’s is working to serve its customers while maintaining a safer work environment for its associates. I have things to return… anyone know if they are doing returns this way?

    • je

      From the Kohl’s website:
“We realize you may need to make a return to remain within our return timeframe, but our stores are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Don’t worry! To assist our customers, we will accept returns outside of the 180 day returns window for the first 30 days after our stores re-open.”

This was my questions as well. It’s great that they extend the return policy, but I will still have to pay for my items I’m planning to return because they haven’t extended the date my kohl’s bill is due!!! 😆

      • belindachapais

        my thoughts exactly…:(

      • BrendaW

I will just short pay the bill by the amount of the return! 😂

      • Angie Eastman

Me too, so I called the 800 number on my card and they will waive any finance charges or fees for this reason, you just need to call.

I was going to say… how are Amazon returns going to work?

    • tH

Bring them to the UPS store? You have to package yourself, print off label on amazon, but it’s really quite easy. In and out!

    • Bebe

I did an amazon return through UPS for free. They’ve always had that option before kohl’s started accepting returns. You do have to package the item and print the label yourself but it doesn’t cost anything to send it back so it’s still a great option! I mailed back a shirt last week and it was small enough that I was able to use a UPS Dropbox so didn’t even have to go into the UPS store.

Wish they offered this last Sunday. I had a purchase I wanted to make but refused to pay $9 shipping. Now the item I wanted is $12 more 🙁

    • K

Check after the % off sale going on now. They usually change the prices.

  4. Rae

Kohls is so addicting, and their sales so enticing I had to chop my card and look the other way as I drive by.

  5. mlj211

Was able to use my $5 reward and spend $3.50 for a new Sweat shirt to keep comfy at home. Now to go and “pop” my trunk. : ) Thanks!!

      Awesome score!! You’re most welcome!

  6. Amanda

I had orders that were delivered for in-store pickup right before they closed. I wonder if I can drive up and get those now.

  7. Brenda

I have done many returns at UPS for Amazon. I have never needed a package anything. UPS scans your QR code on your phone and takes the item. I don’t even put it in a box or a bag

  8. Debra

This isn’t available for states with shelter in place. Please be responsible, you don’t need to risk you, your family, and these employees’ lives over something that Kohl’s sells.

  9. Ashley

Just used this service no contact at all worked out great and I’m happy that the kohls in my area is doing what it takes to keep there employees on staff and there was no contact literally no risk to either party.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thank you so much for telling us how this service worked out for you, Ashley!

This is great news! I broke my coffee pot and that caffeine is what gets me up for my hour drive into work each day.

  11. Moni

Ups STORE is the only place that is free for packaging Big difference if you got to UPS Hub (warehouse) They will take your return item but it has to packaged and label printed, otherwise a box needs to be purchase and they do not have a printer for your label, but if you have que QR only (square) Ups will print the label

  12. Joyce

I have an order that was delivered for in-store pickup right before they closed. Can I drive up and get that order now?

  13. belindachapais

    curbside returns would be nice..:(

  14. lisamiller

The employees having to touch people’s returns would put them at risk during this pandemic. That is why most stores are suspending returns for the time being.
