      Yeah, why does the agreement seem so ominous? Makes me leery of the offer.

      SInce they won’t even tell you what the fee will be, this is super bad Customer Experience. You also have to CALL to Cancel, which will be another horrible experience.
      No Thanks.

    Sirius XM is notoriously difficult to cancel a subscription. They make you call and then bombard you with questions about why you’re cancelling and make offers to get you to keep your subscription. Even if you manage to cancel the subscription, they send mailers to your home address for years (yes, years) afterwards to try to get you back. Honestly not worth it.

    In the fine print it says the cancellation fee may be equal to the device that was in combination with the offer. I would call to verify,,, but I am work! If that was the case on this one it could be the dot itself.

    I agree about their customer service. I completely forgot to listen when I had the deal the last time. It’s annoying that you have to jump through hoops to cancel.

    So, years ago it was a pain to cancel, but I did this deal when it was $1 a few months back and cancelled online and got my email confirmation. It was super easy and they haven’t even called to harass me like I expected. 🤷‍♀️

      I had the same experience. I chatted and got cancelled really quickly and easily. No extra fees charged.

    According to another message board, if you cancel before a 1 year contract, you will be billed for the cost of the dot. I don’t know if that’s true, but I am not going to risk it with prime day a week away!

    I just went through this and cancellation was terrible. The 1st time customer service just outright said he couldn’t cancel me. I called back the next weekend to the number they gave me when I signed up to cancel and they kept telling me they couldn’t help me that I need to talk to billing and would put me on hold forever until another customer service representative picked me up and told me the same thing and it went on and on and on. I was finally able to cancel through chat instead. They have by far the worst customer service ever and it truly is a scam to keep you from canceling. I will never do business with a slimy company like that again. The music however was fantastic.

      I absolutely agree with this post. It was definitely my experience as well. I love our Spotify/Hulu combination for $9.99 per month that we have instead.

    I did this last time it was posted here and cancelled one month later. It was easy to cancel and I never got another fee. It’s been 4 months since I cancelled and no additional fees.

    This is the wrong version of the Echo Dot, you will get the one without the clock.
    As for all the cancellation comments above, its really not that hard to cancel, you just need to remember to do it before the expiry date (I add a calendar reminder 2-3 days before expiry to cancel. I have had no issues cancelling.
