Starbucks Irish Cream Cold Brew Joins the 2020 Holiday Drinks Menu
Starbucks has released its 2020 holiday drinks menu!
This holiday season marks the 23rd year that Starbucks has been warming us up with seasonal drinks from its beloved holiday menu. The 2020 holiday menu is now LIVE, which means you can enjoy all the flavors of the season at Starbucks stores nationwide!
In addition to seasonal favorites like Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and Eggnog Latte, you’ll find new holiday cups, food items, and gifts available at Starbucks cafés too.
Plus, they brought back the delicious Irish Cream Cold Brew! It’s made with cold brew coffee and Irish cream syrup over ice and topped with vanilla sweet cream cold foam. YUM! Plus, if you’re a frontline worker, check out how you can score a free coffee here!
There’s one notable exception from Starbucks’ 2020 holiday menu…
Run, run as fast as you can… but you’ll have to run all the way to Canada to catch the Gingerbread Latte this year! 😧Starbucks confirmed in a tweet that for the second year in a row, this popular holiday flavor will not be available on holiday menus in the US.
If you don’t live in Canada (where the drink will appear on the Holiday Menu), you can always console yourself with a Cinnamon Dolce Latte, which is said to share a similar flavor profile. Or you could just head on over to Dunkin’, where the Gingerbread Latte earned a spot on the holiday menu this year.
Starbucks’ seasonal food favorites are here for a limited time too, and this year the holiday menu will offer treats including the Cranberry Orange Scone, the Cranberry Bliss Bar, the Sugar Plum Cheese Danish, the Snowman Cookie, and the Snowman Cake Pop.

Any word on gingerbread loaf coming back this year? My favorite and it was sooo limited last year.
Does Lina have a copycat gingerbread latte recipe for those of us that feel like this news is coal in our stockings?
Hi Jennifer! We do have a gingerbread latte recipe in this list over here –> https://hip2save.com/recipes/yummy-drinks-to-make-in-the-slow-cooker/
Hope that helps!
The gingerbread latte was my favorite of the bunch. Boo. 😞
So bummed about the gingerbread latte. Guess I’ll be going to Dunkin since it’s on their menu!
Hey Hi Holly Here, I still miss smoked butterscotch!🙁 that was amazing once upon a time.
@ Holly – I MISS THIS TOO!! It was soooo good.
I love peppermint mochas, but it means PSL is going away for a whole year which is a bummer. Ha ha.
Any baristas know how to make these drinks less sugary? (besides less pumps of syrup) Kinda bummed they got rid of the skinny versions years ago
Yes, being a diabetic who indulges with SB once in awhile, I am disappointed that they no longer have sugar free mocha syrup. Did not get to enjoy as many salted caramel mocha’s this year, since only Sugar free option was vanilla syrup.
Sometimes starbucks doesn’t advertise that they have certain syrups, but they do if you ask. Have you tried asking if they carry the sugar free? Or maybe if Starbucks is far away, try calling? I’m not sure if you’ve already done that, but like they carry peppermint syrup year round, but don’t tell you unless you ask.
I’m super disappointed that there are no sugar free holiday options. There is also Sugar Free Cinnamon Dolce syrup, which is my go-to.
I’m with you, Lauren! I was looking for some holiday sugar free options as well. I usually order from this menu here.
Or come on over to Japan. We have the gingerbread lattes here this year!
Been missing the Chestnut Praline Latte. So delighted to have some more of those this year.
Irish cream cold brew is the BEST!!!!! ☘️ this post just made me so happy (sorry to the gingerbread fans out there though)
Glad to see your thoughts- I saw the email about it last night and am ADDICTED to the salted caramel cold brew and also love the pumpkin cream one- I’ll be trying this tomorrow
Does the Irish Cream come in hot?
I can’t wait to try this! I love all of the Cold Brews. Yum 🙂
I so miss the skinny peppermint mocha. I don’t even typically buy any holiday flavors due to the sugar
I miss the sugar free syrups also. I bought the sugar free Torani syrups in the flavors I love and keep in my car. Get my latte with skim milk and add my own syrup! Saves money and calories!
