This Reader’s Organization Hack is Easy & Free!
Organize your closet without spending a dime!
It’s a brand new year! Out with the old and in with the… reused! That is exactly what reader Jodi has been doing for the past year and we are bringing her story to you now to help you get organized while staying on a budget in 2021!
Check out her awesomely frugal tip…
Hi Collin, I have been a faithful follower of Hip2Save since 2008!
Your team rocks! You had a post on 20 ways to double your money and it reminded me of an idea I use. Based on idea # 7 to “Reduce, reuse, and recycle” and idea #3 of “Declutter your home”.
I went to my local Carters Outlet and/or Kohl’s and they gave me empty hangers from the baby department that used to hold onesies for FREE!
I have repurposed them to consolidate my husband’s work ties and my own tank tops! Much less closet space and easy to hang. I am always looking for ways to save and thanks to you it’s easy!
Thank you, Jodi, for sharing your wonderful (and FREE) tip on organization! I feel like clutter not only takes up space in my home but also in my mind so anytime I can grab a tip (especially a frugal one) on how to keep things a little more arranged I jump on it!
Speaking of space-saving hangers, check out this highly rated one on Amazon!

Thanks! I’m going to check these out for my sport bras.
What a great idea! I’ll have to check if I have some hangers from the onesies I have bought for my youngest.
Wow, the “Hang-A-Lot” hangers are typically 3/$10.00! This is going to save me a TON!
Great idea! Thanks for sharing.
This is great! I am a big fan of organizational posts! ✅
