Yay! There’s a new high value cereal coupon available! Just go here, scroll down to the bottom, and click on the link to register for the Post Natural Advantage Newsletter. After doing so, you’ll be emailed a link to print a coupon valid for $2 off one box of Post Shredded Wheat, Grape Nuts or Raisin Bran! These Post cereals often go on sale for $2.50 or less, so possibly ONLY $0.50 per box after the coupon!

As with all high value coupons, print them NOW! The print limit will most likely be reached quite quickly, so start printing while you have the chance!

I am having problems printing these smartsource coupons. For some reason they only print really large and only the middle part prints. Do you all have any ideas for how to fix it? I am bummed because my computer thinks that I have printed that coupon and I can’t print it again (if I figure out how to fix the problem). Thanks for any ideas.

I had the same problem and went back & forth with SmartSource ~~ they couldn’t suggest a fix & didn’t know what was wrong. I contacted HP (the maker of my computer & printer). They said some printers are not compatible with SmartSource software. They had me try a few things to try & get around the problem, but nothing worked. So, that’s the bottom line, I think, in your case: The printer is not compatible with SS software.

You should contact the manufacturer (food/coupon) and let them know you can not print the SS coupons. I’ve been doing that. Sometimes, they will send you the coupons via “snail mail”. In Facebook, a bunch of people had trouble printing coupons at one manufacturer’s Facebook page and complained. My most recent Newsletter came with a coupon — I was so delighted it was a “bricks”/coupon.com coupon!!! So, complaining helps!!

      Complain to SS, as well.

If you complain to manufacturers, maybe they will put pressure on SS to fix the software & make it compatible with more printers. You are losing valuable coupons, the manufacturer is losing sales — and making unhappy customers!

[My printer finally crashed and I bought a new one -- an HP, $34 at Wal-Mart.com ($.97 shipping!) -- and it prints SS coupons.]

My local store gave me a really hard time yesterday about using SmartSource coupons (I’d never had a problem before). The manager showed me a multi-page document about counterfeit SmartSource coupons and checked every single coupon I had against a list, including the one for a gallon of free milk that came from a different company. In the end, they accepted everything, but it took forever to get through the checkout and they made me feel like I was doing something wrong. :( She even took the coupon for free milk and told the cashier she was going to show it to everyone who worked there. This store has the cheapest prices in my area, so not shopping there isn’t really an option, but I’m really unhappy about what happened.

      Cindy,
I had a similarly humiliating experience at my market the other day. They treated me horribly and after about 10 minutes refused to take my milk coupon because they decided it looked counterfiet. I let them know that it was their choice not to accept it but that it was a perfectly legitimate coupon. I wish I could stop shopping at this particular market as well but I have no choice, as they are the cheapest around. I wonder if we’re talking about the same place. I live in NH and I’m talking about Market Basket.

        Cindy says:

I’m in MA and the store is Johnnie’s Foodmaster. The manager said the problem was specifically with SmartSource, but she didn’t trust the free milk coupon. I told her where it came from and she told the cashier to let it go through. I guess I just won’t bother with SS coupons unless I know I’m going to a different store. I’ve also considered sending a letter to the headquarters, but I’m afraid they’ll stop taking all Internet coupons.

      Sally says:

This happens to me these days, never had a problem before. I guess too many people scan or copy coupons. I will not shop at the stores that I know they will question my internet printed coupons by my house which is Tomthumb, and Kroger right now. I have to wait until I visit my MIL and shop at those stores around her house every week.

      Elizabeth says:

I would call the the Store Manager and let him know how you were treated by the manager about using your coupons. I can understand them checking them if they have had a problem with some others however it was unprofessional the way he went about it. He shouldn’t have made you feel like you were doing anything wrong. Hope this helps.

http://www.Cents-off.com is a good place to learn about counterfeit Coupons. They publish a list of known counterfeit coupons. Too, it’s a place where Retailers check coupons they think might be suspect.

I wish it had been said that it was a smartsource coupon up front. I can’t print form there and wasted time signing up, only to find I can’t print it arg.

      Anonymous says:

Wasted time signing up??? There were 3 basic things to enter and then a cereal selection… how much time did you “waste” seriously???

Collin, great site, and a great coupon!!!

        Shell says:

There could be an offer for sign up another time, that I could get. Not now that I signed up and couldn’t print. Sorry but I felt the need to say that because next time she might just put it in the information that it is a smartsource print. I figure she may not realize some people need that info up front. I am going to write Post later on about this. Perhaps they will mail me the coupon.

Mine did this a few times..never could figure out why..but I’m a tinker’er of computers when they don’t work lol. Always gotta figure out why.

Anyways, it may not work for you, but it did a few times for me. Go into your computer and disable your java..then re-able it and ok out. Worked for me once or twice. Wouldn’t hurt to try. HTH :)

If you shop at Stop & Shop using the self-scan wand, there’s a $1.50 coupon for these cereals attached to the machine. Combine the $2 mfg coupon to get a good on these cereals. I’m not sure when the self-scan coupon will disappear.
