**Big Lots does NOT accept manufacturer coupons. That’s why it’s best to price match their ad at stores that do accept manufacturer coupons. I’ve heard mixed reports about price matching Big Lots ads at Walmart and Target. It seems some readers have success doing this while other readers don’t. Let us know in the comment section if you’re able to successfully price match some of these great buys!

Deseree Morris says:
My walmart wont let me price match with Big Lots because “they arn’t a competitor, they’re a discount store.”
Deseree Morris says:
but I did go to Big Lots today and got some awesome deals. Especially the 2x all, which is an awesome deal. Picked up 6 of them, heck yea!
DixyAnn says:
Walmart said the same to me. They told me that their products that don’t sell go to Big Lots and other discount stores and so they won’t price match. Luckily there are plenty of Walmarts in the Salt Lake Valley. Persistence pays off you just try other Walmarts until one lets you.
I ended up getting 6 for $1 each which is really good even if it isn’t .50 cents each.
Kristen says:
Last time Big Lots had All on sale I price matched at WalMart with no problem. I called and spoke to a manager first, and when I got to the store the cashier did it with no questions asked. I also called my Target, though, and they said they wouldn’t price match them.
Jolene says:
I also did it last time and got 6 bottles of All for $.50 each. I shared a couple of bottles with friends. With 4 kids, we go through a lot of detergent. I may just have to go back and do it again
kimberly says:
Does anybody know if there are snuggle or all printable coupons anywhere? We don’t get the rp in our paper
Stacy says:
Use afullcup.com to see if there are any printable coupons. That’s my favorite site.
Lisa says:
I don’t understand afullcup, How do you get the coupon you selected or processed? I must have dozens floatin; around out there in cyber space ,,,but I can’t catch ‘em!!
Stacy says:
Just click on the coupons tab and go down to “printable coupons” then type in the product you’re looking for so it can link you to the site the coupon can be printed on….sounds complicated but it’s really not.
Mitchell Wischmann says:
There is a $1/1 All coupon available!
sarah says:
thank you!! I was moving this weekend and didn’t grab a paper!
Mitchell Wischmann says:
I have been able to price match Target on the All deals successfully.
michelle says:
Woohoo! I did this fine last time at Target!
Bonnie says:
I don’t usually shop Big Lots so I was wondering where you find their ad? In store or in the paper?
Craig says:
More than likely, at the store. My guess, when you walk right in. If not, ask.
Jaclyn says:
My newspaper usually has it.
Jasmine says:
Am I missing something about the coupon? (I could very well be) The 2/7 coupons I received for All were $1/1 50 oz.+ and $2/1 150oz. +.
This would mean the total oop would be $1.50, since its a 50oz. bottle and your only option would be the $1/1 Q.
Please tell me I’m wrong!
I’d love to score .50c detergent!
Lindy Pardee says:
I think you might be right, Jasmine, from what I can tell. It looks like only the 50 oz is on sale which means we can only use the $1/1 coupon. Oh well, still a good deal.
cjs says:
I got the same coupons as you did Jasmine….I wonder if it is regional and some got the $2/1? I think this happened awhile ago, and I had to order the $2/1 from a coupon cutting service since the other areas got the higher value coupons.
Denise says:
In Birmingham Al. I got the $2.00 off 50 oz or larger All coupon. I never seem to get the good ones. I just got lucky this time.
audrey says:
Birmingham .. hey girl dont see many of us howdy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Craig says:
This might be regional is my guess. Im in MI and this one states $2/1 50oz or larger.
Lori says:
Coupons are regional and I never get the good ones either. However, usually for under two bucks I can order 10 or 20 of the “good” coupons using ebay!
Cristie says:
I have the $2.00 off coupon for the 50oz. I drove to Atlanta that weekend to get the newspaper. I bought 30 papers for me and friends. We coupon swap afterwards. I ended up with several coupons.
Craig says:
Collin, these other deals you posted as “while your there”, are they Wally Worlds prices, or Tar-Shay prices??? lol. Im guessing Walmarts but a little clarification would help.
Anonymous says:
They are Big Lots prices, you have to price match at Target or Walmart
Priscilla says:
Does Big Lots accept coupons?
My Target does not price match. I haven’t tried at my Walmart, new building/location but I’ve not been very happy with my first few experiences in that store.
Anna says:
Thanks for the $1/1 IP link! I PM this at Target but they made me buy 2 because the ad’s fine print said 2/$5 or $3 for 1.
April says:
This was a no-go for me last time I tried at Wal-Mart. Same excuse as others have posted, they won’t price match discount stores.
Amber says:
I PM the All last time at Target and had no problems.
I’m definitely going to be doing it again!
Barbie says:
I’ve never tried price matching before, but I’m very interested in the detergent and V-8 deals. A question: Do Wal-Mart and Target limit you in how many of the item you can get discounted? I’d be so embarrassed if I filled my cart with detergent and juice only to find that I could only get 2 of each, or whatever. Not that I would fill my cart with these two items exclusively, but I would like to stock up a little. Could I do 8-10 of each without a problem, you think? Very curious to know . . .
Lori says:
I’ve never had a problem with the quantity that I have priced match. But, to save any problems, I would just double check at the customer service desk or call ahead.
lisa says:
I was just in big lots yesterday looking around, If I come home with another washing powder my husband will have a cow…..I have over 50 in the closet…I only buy them if I can get 2 or less. but what my husband don’t know……(LOL) I can blame it on collins good deals.
Dawn says:
My region only got 1.00 cpns and others got 2.00, but my Walmart only has 50oz in the free and clear detergent.
haidy says:
Thanks!
Seriously, I need to move from that tiny city I live in.. The closest big lots is about 75 miles
Allison says:
I am bummed because this is such a great deal and my Target will not let me price match with Big Lots.
sarah011686 says:
As a former service desk employee at a local target, I can tell you that the official price matching policy states that they do match “close out” store prices. This would be anywhere like big lots, sams club, marshalls, or TJ Max. I am sure that there are lots of employees that wouldn’t really care though, so you are welcome to try. If you get turned down though, this would be why.
Tasha says:
This post doesn’t make sense. You said that they “DO match”. Is this a typo? Do you mean they DON’T match close outs?????
Craig says:
Yeah, Im cornfused now too in what you wrote!
lol
Cheryl says:
Colin, since Taget has their coupon policy online, any idea if they have a price matching policy to clarify this?
jackie says:
i just came from walmart the mgr. told me i can not price and use coupons .its one or the other. a course i made them return them. i think mrgs. dont know what there talking about they make up in their head as they go along. i stood there a agurged with her.i ask when did this start i do it all the time at the other wal mart she its going to catch up with them this walmart policy.
Rebecca says:
When that happens to me, I have the manager called over (but I see he was the one you had issues with). I simply tell them that’s fine, you don’t need to price match Big Lots (for example) and accept my coupons, I will simply go to Big Lots and use my coupons there with the sale. (They don’t know I can’t use coupons there, but in other cases with price matching withTarget etc. I can). I tell them I just really like Walmart and would have liked to have given them my business instead…that usually wins them over lol.
Shannon says:
Oh yes you can price match and use coupons at walmart! This happened to me last week with the Pictureka flipper and I called corporate and was told YES YOU CAN USE BOTH! Call corporate while you are in walmart and tell them the deal. I even had someone call me back to see if the problem was solved.
Brandi says:
I can attest first hand that even the managers don’t know their own policy! My nearest Walmart was so rude about me trying to use a manufacturers coupon with another store logo, that I went to corporate and ended up speaking with the District Manager. Corporate did clarify with me that I could use them, so I went back in the store just for the same manager to tell me I couldn’t! I immediately suggested he call the District Manager and even offered to give him his cell phone number (which the DM had proactively offered). He did not want to take them but he huffed and puffed and took them anyway. The DM had the store manager call me and he was so nice, he said he would get all his front end staff trained properly on coupon verbiage and usage. (He had just taken over that store 2 days prior!) He even offered to personally check me out and give me a discount on my purchase next time. Sorry for the long reply, but long story short….Don’t give up at the cashier! Or manager in some cases! If you feel like you should be able to use them then call corporate and find out. I hate the feeling of knowing I’m right and someone telling me I’m wrong when they don’t even know what they’re talking about!
Linda says:
I’m a newbie and have never price matched before, do you just take the ad to the register when you check out? Customer service before you shop?
Maizie says:
I always keep a copy of the faq regarding price matching with me, so far it’s served me well. http://sites.target.com/site/en/company/page.jsp?contentId=WCMP04-040400
Shell says:
After reading that others can’t price match Big Lots, I know I won’t be able to. My store argues about matching Walgreens. I am not up for arguing today, only to be told no and made to look like a thief to those in line behind me. Good deal for those who can do it though.
Jaime says:
I just called Walmart near me (Knoxville, TN) and they said they DO price match with Big Lots but it just depends on what it is. UH….. not really helpful but I spoke to a manager who said to always call to check before making the trip. In this case, she said the Big Lots Ad is for 50oz and they only sell 100oz and up. Bummer!
tiffany says:
I price matched the ALL last time at Target using the Big Lots ad and $2 q’s and was able to get them for $.50 ea! My SIL price matched the ALL at Wal Mart and used q’s without a problem. I think it may depend on who you get behind the register. I’m going to try it again though.
Brittany says:
go to the all-laundry.com website and register to get a $1/1 coupon……it will let you print 2x!!
Mitzi says:
Our local WalMart refused to honor Big Lots sale price too.

The Little Debbie cupcakes (which the coupon is for) are about $3.00 – they are not the regular Little Debbies. Everyone keeps saying to use the coupon on regular Little Debbies, but it’s not what the coupon is for!!!!
Tara says:
So how do you price match? Do you do think at the register or do you go to customer service?
Tasha says:
I live in Texas and our town’s Big Lots Ad comes out on Wednesdays. I wonder if this deal will be in ours or can anybody send me an extra copy of their ad? We drink the V-8 fusion all the time. I went by our Big Lots today and they had the juice advertised for $1.50 but did not have any in stock =( Would love to price match at Target or WM
Shannon says:
my Target had the wrond size for this deal BUT I went to Walmart and had no probs with price matching!
Tina says:
Thanks again Collin for another great deal! I went to Target but they didn’t have the size I wanted. I did my price match at Wal-Mart. I had a hard time with the first cashier. I just went to another cashier and had no problems. Six more bottles of 50 oz detergents for $3.00. Awesome!
Melody says:
I have two cp. one is for
$2/1 – for 150 oz.
$1/1 for 50 oz.
Unless I overlooked it in my stash of cp.
Melody says:
just called my Local Walmart and they wont match Big Lots. Target is closed so dont know about them. Both stores are located across street from each other. so maybe Target might. will call tomorrow before I travel two miles to find out they dont.I live in Lake Jackson Texas and only have two Walmarts within 15 miles and one Target.
Heather W says:
Thanks Collin! I will have to check this out!!
Michelle says:
Two walmarts price matched for me without a problem..thanks collin
Rachel says:
I called several Walmarts in my area and price matching (for any store) apparently comes down to the proximity of the store to the Walmart you want to price match at. None could give me a radius or distance of the competing store they’ll take the coupon from but 2 said no Big Lot price matching (both over 5 miles from the Big Lots) 1 said yes (about 3 miles from the Big Lots). Call and ask first, get the cashier’s name and use it if they tell you no! The Walmart that price matched also said that they will let you use manufacturers coupons on top of the price match.
