Off topic again, but do any other “kinda newbies” at this couponing get so excited about a sale that you forget to use your coupon? This has happened to me twice in the past two weeks and they were high value coupons

Most stores will refund you your coupon amount if you bring them the receipt and coupon within 24hours.

Most of my stores will even after a wk if the coupon is still valid!!!!! Just take coupon to customer service with the sales receipt!!!!!!!! Never hurts to try!!!!

but I’ve heard so much “bad press” about them on here….I wonder how they would handle this……many of us hate to go through the embarassment when and if they say “no” making us feel sooooo cheap

I used to put mine in my back pocket as I put the item in the cart and have found remaining coupons still in my pocket when I get home. Or worse yet, forget to use any but Meijer was real good about “just bring then in and we’ll refund the coupons”. I’ve figured out a new system and It’s working so much better, I put the coupon in the corner of my shopping cart as the item goes in. I never forget to use them now:-)

If it’s something that is still on sale and they won’t do the coupon refund, just return it and then rebuy it. I did it one time at Walgreens with one of their in-ad coupons and they were great about it. And at FM I forgot to use a $4 coupon on a razor. I realized right after I made the purchase, went straight to customer service and she gave me the money. But if it’s a little coupon, I don’t even bother.

Neither would my Wal Mart. I was able to get Pictureka and Scrabble Slam at Target w no beeps. The Sorry and Monopoly games/coupons beeped at Wal Mart every time (and the cashier wouldn’t push the coupon through).

Ok, the coupon says: “$5 off (1) monopoly game”…the picture shows the board game…so this would apply to the card game too. Right? My local Target gives me soooo much trouble. Just wanted to be fully advised on the topic before I go. Thanks

Some cashiers go by what is picture, but it is the wording that really matters. And the coupons do scan for the card games.

I was told I can’t use a buy (1 or 2) get one coupon combined with other coupons because the first coupon is a manufacturer coupon that gets “attached” to all of the items (ie you are applying the coupon to all of the items because you need all of them for it to be valid). Does anyone know if this is standard or just a fluke?

Question for you all – I tried to use my $4 coupon off Hungry Hippo travel size yesterday at WalMart. The coupon wouldn’t scan and they said if it won’t scan their policy is they cannot accept it. They would not type in the sku numbers. Is this right?

Yes, this is true. It is to prevent coupon fraud associated with internet coupons. Most places will only accept a printed coupon IF it scans.

Yes that is right… it is Walmarts policy to not accept internet coupons if they do not scan because they have had a problem with coupon fraud… I have had this problem before…

Hi Collin, Love all your help in scoring great buy… or freebies!! Unable to use the two five dollars off Hasbro coupons…Walmart stated that the five dollar off coupons were for one pursures as stated on coupon.
To score the 8 dollars RR with walgreens buy 3 Hawaiian and don’t use addtional coupons or buy 4 Hawaiin tanning and 4 coupons? Walgreens would not give me the 8 RR because the 3 dollar coupons brought price to 17.96 not the $20.96. But with help from Manager, she gave me the cash. GREAT!!!! Thanks keep up the good work!!!
